LNP – MPs, but what does “MP” stand for?

LNP – MPs,  but what does “MP” stand for? With the high drama/farce of the last week, I thought it might be a bit of fun to look at some more applicable meanings for  the MP (Member of Parliament) acronym  that follows the name, for example;

English: Tony Abbott in 2010.

Tony Abbott MP (Murdoch’s Puppet),   😯       IMHO much more applicable, as he spends much more time, and tax payers money acting as “Murdoch’s Puppet” than he does as a Member of Parliament, and that will become even more obvious if, God forbid, he ever gets the keys to the lodge.  You could also look to Misogynistic Pugilist   😀

English: en:Christopher Pyne Taken with my own...

Chrissy Pyne (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Chrissy Pyne MP (Mincing Poodle)   😆  There are plenty that would fit,but this is my personal favourite, and one that I have used often in the pursuit of my own version of dispensing poetic Karma   😀   Originally tagged by none other than one P Keating MP (Master of Putdown), PM (Political Mastermind).

Indi, Sophie Mirabella MP

Sophie Mirabella MP (Morally Pernicious)       :mrgreen:      Not as cutting as she deserves, but the best I could come up with.   😀         George Brandis MP (Mendacious Prick)   🙄  Too kind, but it fits!

Barnaby Joyce

Barnaby Joyce MP (Madness Personified)   😆   Nailed it   😀

These are just a few that I thought of, but I’m sure that there are many more, so if you’ve got one for your favourite LNP (Lying Nutters Party) pollie, then feel free to add them to the list.   😀

    Hi Truth Seeker!
    How about, and we’re only talking about the Opposition here, MP = Muppets Personified
    Or, MP = Maggots Pre-eminent
    MP = Muckraker Predominantly

    Of course, you know the famous one, LNP = Lies Not Policy

    I’ll try and think of some more. 🙂

    Truthy,
    Plenty happening in your neck of the world.
    Will be interested if Abbott will accept responsibility

    MP Scott Driscoll has been suspended from the LNP

    “There has been a fair lot of controversy surrounding the Member for Redclifffe,” Mr Newman said.

    This month, Mr Driscoll has been forced to defend himself against allegations of wrongdoing including claims he misused taxpayers’ money to run a retail lobby group from his electorate office.

    In parliament last week, Mr Driscoll said he had done nothing wrong and the Government had defended him from attacks while the relevant authorities look into the matters.

    Mr Driscoll claimed he was the victim of a “campaign of falsehoods”, which has unfairly targeted his wife.

    The Opposition countered with a list of questions it believed Mr Driscoll still had to answer including:

    •explaining his actions in relation to female workers who have left his employ and made “very serious allegations” of sexual harassment;
    •explaining why as the patron of the Regional Community Association Moreton Bay, he allegedly had “hands-on control” of its books and finances;
    •why the board of the RCAMB was “stacked” with LNP “mates”;
    •why Mrs Driscoll was paid $120,000 “in taxpayers’ funds” for “media communications, strategy and management” by the community organisation; and
    •what did the work involve and was it actually carried out.

      Yes corruption has been a feature of Newman’s first year, and he has started the second year the same way. 😯

      The LNP just can’t help themselves, corruption is in their DNA 😦 And Abbott will be just as bad if not worse 👿

      Cheers 😀

      cornlegend,
      Yes, my wife worked at Caboolture Hospital, and we go to Mooloolaba and Maroochydore fairly regularly, it’s a great spot, although the humidity plays havoc with my lungs 😦

      On an unrelated subject;
      I will be letting everyone know about my latest post “Are Australians the new whinging pomms?” tomorrow, as I am just about ready for bed after an afternoon of recording for one of my students 😀

      Cheers 😀
