Hypocrisy = Tony Abbott… Ambition without a real man!

Hypocrisy  = Tony Abbott… Ambition without a real man!

As we all know, this political cycle has been well documented, and will go down in

Be afraid, be very afraid!

Be afraid, be very afraid!

Australia’s history, as one of the most divisive and appalling political chapters in living memory. There are many reasons for this, including ;

  1. The longest dummy spit in history, by Abbott and his LNP, acting like spoilt brats and sore losers.
  2. The lies and spin from Abbott and his LNP, and regurgitated ad-infinitum by the MSM , led by that paragon of mendacity, Murdoch.
  3. There have been numerous attempts at trying to remove a duly elected government by underhanded, deceitful, dishonest and dare I say illegal means, all of which appear to have Tony Abbott and his LNP’s grubby mitts all over them.
  4. Murdoch’s mendacious MSM fawning over Abbott like he is Australia’s own messiah!

Now, it would take more time than I care to spend (in fact I would probably still be writing the list after the election) to make a complete list, and so lets return to the main subject of “Hypocrisy”, and why when you look up the meaning of the word, you should see a photo of Abbott and, at least, his entire front bench, if not the whole of the LNP!

Would you buy a used car from any one of these?

Would you buy a used car from any one of these?

The dictionary says; hypocrisy |hiˈpäkrisē|noun ( pl. -sies)the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform; pretense.

In recent years a specific type of hypocrisy has come to be referred to by many as “right wing projection or RWP”, whereby they (Abbott and his LNP) accuse their political opponents of doing something that they are actually guilty of themselves, for example:

  • Julia Gillard  tells lies?

This statement was, as we all know, based on the infamous “There will be no carbon tax…” statement which many also know was taken out of context, and out of a much longer sentence that was conveniently shortened to prove their (LNP) point.

So the truth is that Abbott, not Gillard lied!   😯

Now the truth is also that long before most of us had heard of Julia Gillard, Abbott was telling real porkies, like the time he lied to the AEC over a certain “Slush Fund” that he set up to destroy a political opponent for his own and his party’s political gain.

Which incidentally was another classic case of RWP, as he later accused and then spent months trying to prove that PMJG had done exactly what he had done in setting up a slush fund for nefarious purposes, but to no avail.

But not content with his original lie, he then went on to tell all who would listen that Whyalla would be wiped off the map, that businesses would go broke, that power bills would go through the roof, and the world as we know it would come to an abrupt end.

Of course none of these predictions came to pass and some, like his claim that emissions will only increase, which he is still repeating, is a blatant lie as power production emissions have already decreased significantly (by well over 8%).

Then there are his claims that this minority government is illegitimate, dysfunctional and a failed experiment.

His claim of illegitimacy is based solely on the fact that despite him being a good Catholic boy and leading a right wing party, he couldn’t negotiate to form a minority government with a handful of conservative independents.

Julia Gillard PM

Julia Gillard PM

Instead they came to an agreement with an agnostic, Labor WOMAN, who they determined was more honest and trust worthy.     😯

When he says that this government is “Dysfunctional”, one can only assume that he is referring to the fact that they (the right wing nut jobs) are the only ones capable of implementing good economic and public policies, as has been demonstrated, as the norm, across most of the developed world to such wide acclaim, when all that this “Dysfunctional” government could achieve is;

  • Continued growth, something which Abbott vows to restore when he wins government, except how can you restore something that was never lost?
  • Productivity growth, which is something else that Abbott will restore   WTF?
  • An economy that is the envy of the developed world, which Abbott and the LNP continually tell us is tanking and in need of good economic management, which only he and Joe (eleventy) Hockey can deliver   😯
  •   A “AAA” rating for our economy despite the worst global financial meltdown (the GFC) since the great depression, which Abbott and the LNP conveniently ignore, whilst espousing policies of austerity which have proved such a huge success that they have taken the UK and parts of Europe into a triple dip recession.   🙄
  • Creating over 900,000 jobs while most developed nations are staring down the barrel of huge unemployment numbers, as well as state LNP governments like Newman’s in QLD which are also following that well trodden path to austerity, and continue to cut jobs and services as Abbott looks on approvingly.
  • Over 500 pieces of legislation passed, mainly without support from an opposition who has been way too busy doing great work for the country like;
  1. Spreading rumours of dissent in the ALP,
  2. Making up three word slogans (rather than policies),
  3. Lying about all the achievements of the government.
  4. Talking down the economy.
  5. Trying everything they can come up with, to destroy the careers and lives of friend and foe alike, for the sake of pure political expediency.
  6. Calling for at least one “Suspension Of Standing Orders” on almost every sitting day of the current parliament.
  7. Asking questions during question time, relating mostly to anything other than their individual portfolios.
  8. Not pushing for amendments, but rather trying to block everything.
  9. Feigning outrage at a personal email, to force Peter Slipper to resign as Speaker of the House, whilst laughing off denigration of the PM in the most sexist and derogatory ways such as Abbott standing in front of placards saying  “Ditch the witch” and  “Bob Brown’s Bitch”, through to the latest LNP brain fart referred to as Menugate.
  10. Continuing to support MP’s who have made nothing but balls ups of their portfolios as have Pyne, Turnbull and Bishop in particular, who has made a career of stuffing up, first as shadow (or should that be shallow) treasury spokes person, and then most recently in her position of DLOTO, and spokes person for foreign affairs, where she inferred that the Indonesian ambassador didn’t know what his governments   policies are.   And then there are Senators like Abetz, Brandis and my own personal favourite Joyce, who can only aspire to“stupid”.   Not to mention candidates like Brough who have proven time and again that he is not fit to represent turds in a sewer, much less the voters of an electorate, even being deeply implicated in Justice Rares ruling on the Ashbygate affair, as part of a conspiracy to bring down the government.

All this and more from a man (?) who;

The real Noddy

The real Noddy

  • Waves his Catholicism like a banner, but was more than happy to give  a personal reference for a pedophile priest.
  • Supposedly leads a right wing party , but could not even negotiate a deal with a handful of conservative independents, to form government, cos they couldn’t trust him to keep his word on any promises that he made.
  • Who without a second thought, tried to destroy the career and life of a man he called friend, whose vote allowed him to stab Turnbull in the back and take the leadership of the party by one vote so as to renege on a deal that Turnbull made with the ALP for an ETS.
  • Who is quick to point the finger of accusation at his political opponents, and claim that they are not worthy to take the mantle of Prime Minister because they fail the “Character” test… WTF?

If this record of achievement is that of a failed experiment, then all I can say is “Let’s fail a whole lot more!”   😀

He is a fan of Downton Abbey because he believes in the ruling classes, and longs for the days when he too can take his rightful place among the “Lords of yore”.

He also read 50 Shades of Grey, probably to find out new and imaginative ways to screw us over, but couldn’t be bothered reading Justice Rares determination on Ashbygate.   WTF!

So the only conclusion that an objective observer could come to is;

Abbott is a man with ambition, not principles.

Abbott is a man with ambition, not conscience.

Abbott is a man with ambition, not scruples.

Abbott is a man with ambition, not compassion.

Abbott is a man with ambition, not honesty.

Abbott is a man with ambition, not integrity.

Abbott is a man with ambition, not honour.

Hypocrisy = Tony Abbott,  ambition without a real man!

Can people be this stupid Nyahahahahahaha.

Can people really be that stupid?   Nyaaaaahahahahahaha.

    Another good one truthie.

    On abbotts claims the government is illigitimate and miniority government is bad, most people forget that the liberals normally operate in a coalition with the nationals. Hypocrasy. But they have an exclusive use of coalitions. They squealed as much at the last election once they failed to get the independents.

      That’s why I call them the LNP, regardless of the fact that the QLD party used all their imagination to come up with the name 😯 it still stands for the Liberal National Party coalition.

      And neither party could win in their own right. 😯

    Love your work.

    Abbott is such a fan of England, Monarchy, Downtown Abbey, et al. I wonder how long he will last before he restores the Imperial Honours system like NZ did in 2009. Some-one should ask him specifically…but I am sure Sir Anthony, Dame Sophie and Sir Eric will all just nod sagely, as is their right, as the “true leaders” based on birthright. You just can’t leave that to the hoi polloi. Then of course we will see the Masters and Servants Act to keep them in their rightful place.

    You are clearly filling a much needed riposte to all the lies and innuendo that assails us daily from the MSM et al.

    Reading other’s comments is an effective antidote to the relentless negativity that has been washing over Australia – the one Western Democracy to survive the GFC in relatively good circumstances. Remember Howard claiming that interest rates would rise under Labor? Now Hockey is trying to claim how the lower rates is another bad indicator of Labor’s economic management.

    Thanks for outing the bastards.

        Lol, thanks for not addressing either of my points. The LNP doesn’t have the same set quotas as the ALP who aren’t meeting their own standards. Calling me a hypocrite doesn’t change any of this. Continue ignoring the facts champ, but it doesn’t change the fact that what I said is spot on. Blaming Murdoch for the ALP’s self-made problems is pathetic. Have to laugh at the true believers on here who call people ‘others’ just because they can think for themselves and aren’t blind lemmings. Reply if you like but I doubt I’ll be back to read any more of this crap. Especially since you can’t even address the intial points I have made. At least Feeney will vote for Gillard.

    The paedophile priest reference upsets me more than anything else Abbott stands for. To think Australia could have this man as our PM is frightening.

    What would the world think of Australia electing a man who put his hand up and chose to go out of his way to give Nester a glowing reference in an attempt to help his case claiming innocence. He would have read the charges and he would have read the statements by those little kids.

    How could this man face the world & expect to be viewed as a moral leader of Australia when he virtually spat in the faces of the little children who made these claims against Nester who was found guilty by his own church & kicked out.

    The world is ripping into the Catholic Church over child sex abuse & we have a Royal Commission set up by Labor….. yet Abbott had a choice to stay home that day but instead went to the court & embraced old mate Nester….so in his own mind he clearly dismissed the cries of help & heartache suffered by those little children as what? not pure at heart? lies?
    MY MATES NESTER & PELL COME FIRST! always have…always will….

    My question is how much advice did Abbott get from Pell prior to attending court that day? Did Pell TELL him to protect the church at all costs?

    Foreign politicians and officials who took part in two G20 summit meetings in London in 2009 had their computers monitored and their phone calls intercepted on the instructions of their British government hosts, according to documents seen by the Guardian. Some delegates were tricked into using internet cafes which had been set up by British intelligence agencies to read their email traffic.

    The revelation comes as Britain prepares to host another summit on Monday – for the G8 nations, all of whom attended the 2009 meetings which were the object of the systematic spying. It is likely to lead to some tension among visiting delegates who will want the prime minister to explain whether they were targets in 2009 and whether the exercise is to be repeated this week.

    THIS FROM CRIKEY:
    While others have come late to the issue, Greens Senator Scott Ludlam has been tirelessly pursuing this issue for a couple of years, drawing attention to the extraordinary number of data accesses by law enforcement bodies — 293,000 times by law enforcement bodies only in 2011-12. This week he proposed that law enforcement bodies be required to obtain a warrant based on a threshold that a serious offence (punishable by three years jail or more) is suspected, the same test as required to read emails, for example.

    Dreyfus dismissed the proposal in a 7.30 report, saying that “law enforcement in Australia would grind to a halt”. Dreyfus may have made more expansive argument that was edited by 7.30, but it hasn’t appeared elsewhere. And there is a significant debate to be had about the impact on law enforcement of requiring a warrant for something that is currently done hundreds of thousands of times a year just by filling in a form. But Dreyfus appears unwilling to have such a debate, possibly because his department is currently engaged in trying to dramatically expand surveillance and law enforcement powers, not provide more accountability for them.

    Dreyfus of course also declined to reveal the extent to which Australian intelligence and law enforcement agencies use data obtained by the NSA, although given the close cooperation between Anglophone intelligence agencies, the answer is almost certainly that Australian agencies make extensive use of it.

    G’day all,

    Ooops!

    Here are the 2 emails

    Dear Ms Bishop,

    I have not received a reply to this email, nor even a notice of receipt, so thought I would contact you to see if you could either encourage Mr Morrison to respond, or respond yourself.

    Sincerely
    Mark McCallum

    Dear Mr Morrison, I have a question of you in your capacity as Minister for Immigration.

    Part of your policy in regard to people claiming to be asylum seekers approaching Austalia by boat from the general direction of Indonesia, is to “turn the boats around where safe to do so”, I have been trying to envisage how this might be done, and have imagined being present at the discovery of one of the many overloaded boats off Xmas Island.

    As I think it highly unlikely you would suggest that the boat be simply taken in tow with all remaining on board, I presume the occupants would have to be off loaded on to a suitable vessel, probably an Australian naval ship, and the empty boat tied to said ship for towing. Could you please suggest what the actual prodedure might then be upon reaching Indonesian territorial waters. As the boat would have no official details of actually having left from Indonesia, and the authorities having clearly stated that they would not accept this type of vessel in to their country, what would you now do with these people and their boat.

    I consider this to be one of many vital pieces of information I need to assess in trying to decide whether to vote for your party in the upcoming election.

    In anticipation of your timely reply
    Sincerely
    Mark McCallum

      Mark, thanks for your comment 😀 and the update on your efforts to get some kind of response from the LNP on this important issue 😎

      I again wish you luck with your efforts, and one can only assume that they think that they are such a shoe-in, in the up-coming election, that they aren’t worried about possibly losing your vote? 😯

      I was just watching our PM tear strips off the LOTO over “Turning back the boats” and TPV’s, and she made the exact points that I made in your original post; “That boats would be sabotaged and people would end up in the water, putting our ADF personnel
      at risk”. 😀

      The LNP were conspicuously quite afterwards 😀

      I admire your tenacity, and hope you keep pushing them 😀 and look forward to further updates.

      Keep up the good work 😎

      Cheers 😀

    It is a shame we are losing two great woman, one from each side. Moylan yesterday and Roxon today. Her valedictory speech sums the last week or so up. NO, we do not back off on sexism, abortion or any other women’s issues.

    Abbott is taking the same agenda to the election, nothing new, He is accusing Labor of the same sins, most from the first Labor government, not this one.

    Just posted this on IA, thought you might be interested

    Heres what we are up against;

    I posted this on the Age site in response to some halfwit, who was commenting on a piece by Peter Harcher, that the Liberals were the party for women because they have more women in the party…or something.

    PM’s cynical ploy fails to win voters
    What rubbish;Labor has a female leader; Liberals have Julie Bishop who will always be the bridesmaid because Warren Truss will be deputy Prime Minister in a Liberal govt….anyway how many leaders has she been deputy to now? She is the deputy you have in a position you don’t really need! Although the Liberals do have more girls on the front bench if you count Pyne!
