The Suppository of Wisdom!

The Suppository of Wisdom!art-abbott2-620x349

I will take this opportunity to apologise in advance for anyone that might be offended by some of the language in this little ditty, but as most that know me would understand, this was the poem that was begging to be written   😯

So without further adjure, here it is:

The Suppository of Wisdom.

The suppository of wisdom

Is a curious little thing

It’s placed in nether regions

To make you look quite dim

It’s used by Abbott’s LNP

To produce their fiscal charts

And explains the gross stupidity

Of Abbott’s great brain farts

So what is a suppository

And what’s it supposed to do?

You shove it up your botty hole

To clean out all the poo

It’s not a thing of wonder

And it’s not a thing of class

And it’s not usually a wisdom thing

Cos you shove it up your arse

So was it just a Freudian slip

Or something much more telling

As the lack of Abbott’s costings

Says that something there is smelling

Cos the timing of the statement

Coincides with the public hit

That the LNP are suffering

From talking economic shit

So their suppository of wisdom

Shows, for them, it really works

As their wisdom has deserted them

And left a bunch of jerks

Who expect us to believe them

And take them at their word

When the crap that dribbles from their mouths

Is totally absurd.

They try to sell us β€œFraudband

Which most know is just a crock

Through their expert, Malcolm Turnbull

Who’s a lying little cock

Chris Pyne talks education

Calling Gonski just a con

Then he backflips cos they’re losing ground

But his credibility’s gone

With Morrison, stupidity flows

At a shocking rate of knots

Encouraging people smugglers boats

Cos the truth, is he wants lots

To prove that Labors plans won’t work

But his, are plans that will

But he’s overdosed on suppository’s

And now he’s just a dill.

Now Julie Bishop’s had her hit

And her wisdom’s sadly lacking

And from her foreign affairs portfolio

The woman just needs sacking

She’s verballed all our neighbours

And her honesty’s a farce

As she throws death stares at everyone

Whilst talking through her arse.

But for the suppository of wisdom

By far its biggest users

Are Abbott and Joe Hockey

Those mega truth abusers

They lie about the economy

And all their hidden cuts

And they treat us all as idiots

When it’s them that’s really nuts

So stop using your suppository’s

Cos wisdom’s what we need

From the right wing politicians

Instead of personal greed

We want some proper costings

And you to do your sums

Or like your suppository of wisdom

You can shove your policies up your bums.

  4. Russputin2 says:

Great work Truthy, very funny old buddy, by the way, those suppos you gave me were a bit chewy , .

just in reference to your assertion to Julie Bishop, ( The Minister for startled Meerkats)

I found out, on good authority, that she was seeking a medical opinion into why she wasn’t getting ‘any’.

Long story short, she ended up in a Chinese traditional Medicine Clinic.

After a thorough physical, the Chinese doctor, informed her that she was suffering from, ‘Sacherys disease.’
When asked , what Sacherys disease is, the good Doctor said, ” Your face, look sachery same, as your arse hole’

    True story mate.

  5. Joan M. says:

Thanks Truthie, Love it! You say all and more of the things I think and mumble about to myself, great to see an entertaining poetical version. Well done!
    Joan M.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Joan, thanks for your feedback, πŸ˜€ it’s always good for a laugh to reflect on Abbott’s brain farts, πŸ˜€ and that one was just too good to pass up. πŸ˜†

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  6. Bob Evans says:

Took me 2 mins to get past the pictures, haha. Very fitting pictures and poem. Shove that up your arse Tones.

  7. gorgeousdunny1 says:

A superb funny piece. You’re a star in your own right, but I hope you don’t mind me saying that it’s right up there with the best of PatriciaWA’s pomes. That’s high praise as I’m a fan of hers.

    • Truth Seeker says:

gorgeousdunny, welcome 😎 and thanks for your comment and kind words πŸ˜€

Yes, I too am a fan of Patricia’s, and I appreciate your comparison 😎

I read a lot of your comments at THE PUB and other sites, and enjoy your input, so it’s great to see you here πŸ˜€

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  8. cornlegend says:

Have to agree with Bob Evans re the pics.
    As always mate, spot on.
You sure do have a knack of nailing those scummy bastards.
You cheered to old dog up mate, Keep me happy all day πŸ˜€
cause there’s so much depressing shit going on out there

    • Truth Seeker says:

cornie, thanks for that mate πŸ˜€ I was wondering where you were? πŸ˜‰

As I said it was begging to be written, so I did it over breakfast this morning, and posted it straight away πŸ˜€ one of the quicker ones 😯 so it’s good to see a few people having a chuckle at Abbott’s expense. πŸ˜†

I must admit to having a bit of a laugh myself whist writing it πŸ˜€ and my wife did too 😯 as I read it out to her as I was writing it.

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  9. melaine says:

Spot on as usual Truthie… can’t wait for ‘he who obeys’ to come home so I can read it to him, he is starting to love your poems as much as I do haha! Thanks I really needed a good laugh, everywhere else seems to be a bit down this morning… almost tempted to dive back into Ernest Callenbach’s ‘ecotopia’ novels just to escape.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Melaine, thanks for your feedback πŸ˜€ and kind words 😎

It’s good to know that you can bring a bit of a smile to peoples day πŸ˜€

My wife said the same thing about everything being a bit too serious today, and people might enjoy a bit of light hearted fun πŸ˜€

      She was right… AGAIN! 😯

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  10. cornlegend says:

    Mel, Mel, Mel,
whats this bloody ” β€˜he who obeys’ rubbish.
I own the “tony Abbott book On Male Chauvinists.”
The way I’m heading, I’ll end up Grand Poobah
As I explained to Bundy and the two Truthies last night I AM the VICTIM
of the sadistic missus of mine

    • melaine says:

My HWO is a wise man… recently told the newly married nephew the secret to a long and happy marriage was to agree coz 9 times out of ten SHE would be right… re Trenchcoats, been thinking we should get a business going selling the damn things, we could make a killing whichever way the election pans out??

  11. cornlegend says:

Whats this “She was right… AGAIN!” business.
    Bloody sell out πŸ˜€

  12. Caz2 says:

    Oh Dear!!!

  13. bundysmum says:

GOLD!! Truthie, so clever and so hilarious. Just what the doctor ordered as I have been feeling somewhat despondent about the campaign but this has reminded me that these people are truly hideous and we do need to get on with whatever will help Labor win the election.

    • Truth Seeker says:

bundysmum, thanks for that πŸ˜€ and I’m so glad I was able to raise your spirits a little πŸ˜€

They really are a bunch of no hope idiots 😯

Keep your chin up, πŸ˜€ We will prevail πŸ˜‰

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  14. brckbob says:

Congratulations Mister Truth Seeker, that was very funny and is a classic example of how humour used properly can make a very powerful statement on politics and life in general. It also says that Tony Abbott and the LNP really do need a suppository because they are full of shit.

    • Truth Seeker says:

brckbob, thanks for that mate πŸ˜€ I greatly appreciate you support and kind words 😎

And I love your last line πŸ˜† πŸ˜† and oh so true πŸ˜€

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  15. Russputin2 says:

Cornie , Mel and all, the secret of a happy marriage, is that the man always has the last say. That say, is , Yes Dear!

    • Truth Seeker says:

      Russ Mmmmmm πŸ˜†

Now there’s a man who’s never used the “Suppository of Wisdom” πŸ˜€

      Cheers πŸ˜€

    • melaine says:

Ha ha.. HWO agrees with you… said to tell you, Friday is safer if you’re coming for dinner as he cooks (homemade fancy fish and chips, YUM) but you’ll need to raid Tess’s fridge on the way.. ahh what the heck, bring her with you! The more the merrier…

  16. Fed up says:

Another good effort. Keep up the good work

  17. Fed up says:

Wonder what tomorrows blunder will be.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Fed up, whatever it is, I hope it’s a good one, cos I love the challenge πŸ˜€ and they are the gift that keeps on giving πŸ˜†

And on that note, I think I might head off to bed πŸ˜€

      Good night πŸ™‚
      Cheers πŸ˜€ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

  18. Hefina says:

You deserve a good sleep , enjoyed it to Truth Seeker. I’m off to bed too, it is now 12-59am.mind you it’s early for me. 3am is my normal bed time, ha ha . loved the poems.
One thing you did miss out, Old Sophie. Mirabella apparently she will be gunned out this next election. Oops that sounds like another poem in the pipe line. nos dawch.zzzzzzzzzzzzz

    • Truth Seeker says:

      Hefina, thanks for that πŸ˜€

I have to say that I did consider doing a verse on Mirabella, and also a few others, but I decided to leave her out especially, cos out of all of the LNP, she is IMHO lacking the most; decency, honesty, morals, humanity, and I doubt there was ever much wisdom to lose. And she is followed closely by Brandis and Abetz. πŸ‘Ώ

As you may have guessed, I’m not a fan 😯 so I hope that she is “gunned” out at the election, and good riddance. πŸ˜€

I hope you get a good sleep too, although I have to admit that if I get four to five hours straight, I’m doing well 😦

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  19. Jock says:

Truthie you’re instant view of the world is amazing. To be able to respond so fast with so much humour is to be admired. I saw robb on the news waving a piece of paper around. The man is a masochist. He suffers from depression (and we are supposed to offer comfort to the disabled) but he puts himself in the most depressing job in the world, trying to do rabbott and hockey’s tax return. He must spend a fortune at the chemists. Keep up the good work.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Morning Jock, πŸ˜€ and thanks for that 😎 I appreciate your support and kind words πŸ˜€

All I can say is that depression must be contagious, cos I feel depressed every time that I hear Robb speak, or in fact see him 😯

Maybe he can claim his meds on expenses, as Abbott seems to be able to claim everything? 😯

How are you getting on with the new laptop? And is it running windows 8, as my wife’s new laptop is on 8, and I really struggle with it.

Luckily I use my Macbook, which I find much more user friendly πŸ˜€

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  20. Jock says:

Truthie Maybe I got a deal or maybe conned but it came installed with 7 but the deal included a licensed copy of 8. The salesman said my wife and I might struggle with the big change from our ancient machine and that we should get used to 7, then install 8. I think he was right. We’re still trying to salvage stuff off the old one. and slowly finding stuff on the new. But most importantly we can still have a chuckle at your poetry.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Jock, yes I would suggest not even bothering with 8 unless you have a good understanding of Tablets, as the format for 8 is more compatible to those IMHO.

I have an old desk top that I built with a friend a few years back, that still runs XP, and I still use it for my guitar system, and other older applications that will not work on any of the later systems, but I do everything else on my Mac, and find it much better than any of the later windows systems.

I think 7 was the best of the latest incarnations, and would probably stick with that as long as you can πŸ˜€

Having said that, I’m glad to have you back on line, and contributing here 😎

Good luck with the new system, and keep up the good work πŸ˜€

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  21. TechinBris says:

ROFL! Thanks TS. I really needed this good laugh. It made me feel human again.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Techinbris, welcome πŸ˜€ and thanks for your comment and feedback. 😎

I’m glad you enjoyed it πŸ˜€

      Cheers πŸ˜€

      • TechinBris says:

I enjoyed it as it made me forget, for a moment, the rabid wolves that the CAN’T Campbell Newman and his merry LNP mob has placed at my door. I really needed it.
You were a happy hit, at just the moment I really needed it. Thank you ever so much.

        • Truth Seeker says:

Techinbris, as a resident of the Sunny Coast, I feel your pain, 😦

I just hope that the voting public see the comparison, and recognise the danger for this country? 😯

I have written much about Newman and Abbott, both poetry and articles over the last few months, in the hope that people might start to realise the danger. πŸ™„

But I am happy to be able to provide a bit of light relief, even if only for a short while πŸ˜€ and they are certainly the gift that keeps on giving :shock for all the wrong reasons πŸ˜€

          Cheers πŸ˜€

  22. melaine says:

Hey Truthie… HWO loved the poem, many thanks, he was still chuckling over the photos today.
Enjoy your day… looking forward to your next poem….

  23. Fed up says:

    Today’s clanger.

“………….Mr Abbott has put yesterday’s comments about a Liberal candidate down to “exuberance” and “a daggy dad moment”, but Mr Rudd says any employer who made similar remarks about an employee would be in “serious strife”.

And today the Opposition Leader caused another stir when he referred to the push to legalise gay marriage as being “the fashion of the moment”.

Labor used the remarks on radio station 2SM this morning to label Mr Abbott “out of touch”.

Meanwhile, the Liberals have announced they will preference the Greens last in every seat, and Mr Rudd has ruled out any post-election deals with cross-benchers…..”

    • Truth Seeker says:

Fed up, thanks for your comment 😎

Yes, he just can’t help himself, if left alone for five minutes 😯 It must be that suppository of wisdom? πŸ˜€

      Cheers πŸ˜€

  24. It came out so fast. You must have been sitting on this suppository for some time. Enjoyed a good belly laugh with Wife reading your blog. Your suppository of wisdom cleaned out my “Laughing Valve.” Keep writing please,

    • Truth Seeker says:

Pete, welcome to my site πŸ˜€ and thanks for your comment 😎

I’m glad you crazy kids enjoyed my musings πŸ˜€ and look after that “Laughing valve”, you’ll need it next week 😯 πŸ˜€

And as far as writing goes, you know me, I just can’t help myself 😯

      Cheers mate πŸ˜€
