So the apologies have begun, for Abbott and co offending all our neighbours,  but what about an apology to us, the people of Australia, for all the deceptions, misinformation and lies that we were told, and the real waste of the tax payers… the LNP trough snouting?

‘That you’re feeling much maligned

By my pre election rhetoric

That left you well defined

As that really nasty neighbour

That would beat asylum seekers

When the truth is that the LNP

Are less than truthful speakers

Our intent was not to cause offense

But to cause a bloodless coup

We didn’t think as a consequence

We’d end up in the poo

As Malaysia is a friend of ours

That cannot be denied

And I’m sure it won’t be the last time

For making delegates wait

I won’t apologise

And I’ll sign up to most anything

To strengthen all my ties

I’ll woo the Chinese Communists

And Pacific nations too

Cos my corporate mates are really keen

To see them all go through

I’ll gladly sign us up

And I’ll hide the fact that for Australia

They’re selling us a pup

With ISDS arrangements that will

Favour corporate law

To build the wealth of billionaires

At the expense of the Aussie poor

But for rorting, I am truly sorry

That we got caught out

As the trips to right wing weddings

Showed a trough that’s full of snout

Though George tried hard, to justify

The claims that we all made

To dodge a major scandal

The money we repaid

Though I definitely won’t say sorry

For claiming my pollie pedal

Not only should I claim expenses

I deserve bloody medal

For riding on roads that are riddled with pot holes

That are off the beaten track

Whilst dealing with sore testicles

And a sweat rash up my crack

And volunteering for the bush fire brigade

Is such a noble calling

But to not get paid to volunteer

To me is quite appalling

Cos my time is very valuable

And to gain a pollie’s perk

Is a claim that’s quite legitimate, cos

Photo ops are damned hard work

So there is much that I am sorry for; that that woman,

Wouldn’t lay down, and die

That I couldn’t bring down her government

Though I gave it my best try

And I’m sorry that it took so long

To realise my ambition

But as far as my expenses claims

I won’t show much contrition

Cos now I am the PM man

And fulfilled my destiny

What happens in Australia

Is really up to me

And I don’t need to be sorry

When I claim that extra pay

Cos I’m the leader of the LNP
