OK, hands up all those that voted for Peta Credlin?

OK, hands up all those that voted for Peta Credlin?Credlin 1

The reality is that many people in Australia would have absolutely no idea who the frack Peta Credlin is, and I would venture to suggest that many more would be horrified to learn that this woman, who has never stood for election, is pretty much running the joint!

Now when you consider that the very first job that Brandis did as AG, was to get Credlin off a DUI charge, you can start to understand how much they need her there.

Of course  the LNP have form in privatising and outsourcing, so it’s hardly surprising that IPA 1they would also outsource government!   😯

We saw a clear example prior to the election, with the IPA supplying policies to an opposition so thoroughly obsessed with making three word slogans, trashing reputations, scare mongering and misleading the public, that they just didn’t have the time to develop their own.

4394943285_5de9879c11_mThere was also the LNP media and promotions office outsourced to News LTD with Murdoch acting like Abbott’s very own PR manager, as lies, spin and smear became the norm throughout the MSM, with absolutely no regard for truth, integrity or for that matter… ethics!

And a more recent example being the immigration  dept, where dealing with asylum seekers has been outsourced to the ADF so that they don’t have to answer questions about their policy failures, or as they like to call them “Operational or On water matters.”

So;

  • Should we be surprised by the fact that every right wing nut-job and corporate puppet master has an interest and a say in the government that Murdoch delivered, and Abbott provides?
  • Should we be surprised that we have a government that has no idea WTF they’re doing?
  • Should we be surprised that the LNP cannot explain, detail or cost their policies, when they played little or no part in their development?
  • Should we be surprised by the lies and policy backflips?
  • Should we be surprised by the multitude of broken promises?
  • Should we be surprised that we now have the most dishonest, dysfunctional, secretive and self serving governments ever?
  • Should we be surprised that the one pulling the strings and calling the shots, is the wife of Brian Loughnane, the Federal Director of the Liberal party, and yet another of the back room manipulators that has never stood for election?

No, we shouldn’t be surprised, but WE SHOULD BE OUTRAGED!

Peta Credlin is now Abbott’s permanent shadow orchestrating every move he makes, and telling him and the rest of the cabinet what they can and can’t say, and to use one of Abbott’s/Credlin’s favourite sayings, the things that are “Crystal Clear” are:

  • That we currently have a government that was bought and paid for by Murdoch, and a few other corporate heavyweights who are now seeking to reap their pound of flesh.
  • That we have a government that has spent so long practicing its opposition to everything, that it’s acting like it’s still in opposition even though it’s now in government.
  • That this is not the government that we voted for or were promised.
  • That it’s Loughnane through his wife Credlin that is calling the shots, or Credlin herself that is running the show.  Either way, they are not elected representatives, and do not have the best interests of this country at heart, but rather those of the vested interests of their corporate mates and backers.   😯

And the one burning question that I, like I’m sure others, would like an answer to, is;

OK, hands up all those that voted for Peta Credlin?

Well said, Truth Seeker. It is patently obvious who is running government & it sure ain’t the elected LNP MPs. They are told what to say & do by their masters. Credlin is so frenetically busy micro-managing the entire Coalition she will explode shortly. She has been singled out as the divine one who single-handedly brought about the election of this shonky government so has been given free rein to do her wont & to rule the roost.

This does also work in reverse so that if/when this egregious government fails she will cop most of the blame. Abbott will see to that as he has NEVER, in his life, taken responsibility for anything he has said or done.

Don’t think anyone would be game to pull Credlin’s strings, TS. 😆 Apparently she has always had a mind of her own, even at school. It has been her way or else. We are already getting a taste of what is to come. Can any government inflict so much damage in such a short space in time as this one has? It is horrifying to see.

As it is becoming more & more obvious that Abbott is a puppet with many puppetmasters hopefully they will all get their strings tangled & he falls down into a muddled heap of contradictions. 🙂

And like you, I hope that they get their strings tangled, and hang themselves 😀 (Figuratively of course 😯 )

Agree Truthie, we know inducements with this LNP bunch of self-servers, are a given. 😉 Even Abbott’s daughters appear to be into them. They tweet pics of themselves at some do, even at a function with Prince Harry, saying”outfit by so & so” giving a link to their site. No shame whatsoever.

As for Credlin, she would have to be one of the few PM Chief of Staffs that have been so blatantly in the public eye. They usually are discreetly in the background careful to not steal their bosses’ limelight. After all, they are just there to make sure the PM’s office is run smoothly, organise their schedules, give some advice & generally make life a little easier for them, not to be front & centre making it obvious they are the ones running the country. A bit of subtlety is needed there. 😆

Hi, Truthie. You’ll be delighted to know that I didn’t vote for Credlin. Tee Hee.

You’ve raised a really important question – after all the talk about the ‘faceless men’ pulling strings behind the scenes in the ALP, it appears that we have a faceless woman. And behind every faceless woman in a faceless man or two, and a faceless agenda.

    Love your work as always,

As far as her being Abbott’s chief of staff… So what?

The underlying point was that Abbott made such a song and dance about the ALP being run by the “Faceless Men”, when his government is being run by a woman that has never faced the voters, and is therefore just another faceless person pulling the strings. 👿

Yes Truthy, the average bogan has no idea who Credlin is or what she does.
But I had the same problem with Privatisation that ran Keating`s agenda and has gone rampant since.with all governments Federal and State.
So Credlin is a child of the Privatisation and she has bosses because she is the chief lobbyist for them.
Here in Australia her boss is the IPA executive and they in turn get their orders from the corps controlling ALEC.
The agenda, global corporatism by Corporation America.
Very soon the IPA will replace the supposiTORY of wisdom using Murdoch`s Newspoll to viifiy him by the polls saying his preferred PM status is too low, just like was done to Rudd/Gillard/Rudd.
Enter Hockey and exit Credlin, because Hockey knows the IPA songsheet backwards.
My prediction is this will happen no later then May 2014 ready for the new Senate.
Even the WA half Senate re-election mat make little difference because Murdoch will pull out all stops over hers with his media to further brainwash the bogans.
Keep up the good work M8.

Good article Truthie, up until now I had noted Credlin as one of the players behind the Libs now, thanks to your article and links, have been giving some consideration as to whom is behind Peta Credlin.

There is no way that a single female is doing all this controlling without a powerful basis, did I mention she is female? And on the conservative side of politics – women of the right simply have to be maintaining the status quo or they are out. Even on the so-called progressive side of politics women in power still remain an exception.

I like to see some good from all this (because if it isn’t a ‘Peta’ enforcing an agenda on the Libs it would’ve been a ‘Peter’ – gender is not the issue), anyway, if Scott Morrison can be turfed out of the club, things can’t all be bad can they? Maybe they (the Libs) will self destruct?

“…Fairfax Media has been told that Immigration Minister Scott Morrison, who has been running tightly controlled weekly briefings about the Coalition’s ”stop the boats” policy, Operation Sovereign Borders, was chided by Ms Credlin as they left a cabinet meeting last month.

In the exchange Ms Credlin spoke about Mr Morrison’s poor performance during a recent news conference.

According to cabinet sources, Mr Morrison did not take the criticism well and expressed frustration that he was not allowed to say much at his press appearances.

According to one source who witnessed the exchange, Ms Credlin shot right back at Mr Morrison with: ”We will tell you what you can say and what you can’t say.”…”

“We” being the significant word. Of course I do realise that Credlin is probably capable of using the plural deliberately, however doubt that is the case.

You are right, this isn’t the government that most here voted for, as most here voted for a Labor government, and that was my point when I said that “this isn’t the government that we voted for, or were promised”.
So as Labor supporters, we didn’t get the government that we voted for, but as we ended up with an LNP government, we also didn’t get the government that we were promised by the LNP, as they lied! 😯 so we missed out on all fronts 😦

After reading the complete report from Holden (thank’s BH for the link) it is just unbelievable that this government didn’t do everything possible to keep Holden operating and investigate Ford reversing their decision.
The benifits to Australia far outweigh the perceived costs to the taxpayer. It is obvious the business and taxes generated from the auto manufacturing industry are much greater than the subsides spent.
If it means a partial buyout or investment, so what?
If it means increasing tarrifs, so what?
If the Chinese have 25% tarrifs on imported cars so should we on vehicles from them!
What this country needs is a leader that will step up and do what’s needed to save Australia.
I don’t hold out hope of either Liberal or Labor doing this.

One thing heights hates is anyone seeing the cross breeding on our structural matters of governence between the major parties that keeps pulling off it’s owned course on the populace. These courses have little to do national security or stradegic partner wise than ilk wise. The report by Steiglitz in the guardian was a fine example of the decades long rort. Our governence is owned and our course repeatedly gouged by Murdoch and co’s ilk and art of staying in the clover whatever the cost to anyone else abd under any guise or Canberra mock disneyland wrestling.

You take the going on’s of corruption on the people like on the times of pre Fitzgerald, when the good and sane bucked. You multiply that up through heights and into the intstituions , national security, Federal police, Asio, defence and industry complex, health market complex, insurance, wall street, bank heights etc etc. Fitzgerald matters on a higher scale.
What goes on at the bottom is a good reflection of heights.
The fundaments of life exist there. The institutions humanities, health, legal , judiciary, true national security, sanity and truth and acheivable capabilities. Then put overempowerment in there and you need the psyche trade to pull off the charade of the gangster intentions of the smug born to rule, it”s trained attack dogs , crawlers and lackeys.
The murder of my Father and the Whitlam dismissal is a fine example of the capabilities.

Too true Biggy. Been watching the monster here for a long time. Had many orchestrated assaults across the range of defences. Orchestrated from above all. I dont think things are hopeless though. It’s a matter of sorting the wheat from the chaff. Heights corruptions wont change without confronting or corrupters feeling the heat. I put it this way. Say one branch of power corrupts indulgently , taking opportunistic advantage of a situation then runs back in to the govt fundaments and directs defence from the whole onto its own covering up and survival. I have had quite a few of those assaults.
When the overindulgence is massed across the board you get matters like our housing situation titilated before the boom.
The fears you spoke are real but corruption in the fundaments and the conglomeration of human nature indulging on excuse in there , rely on it heavily. It is the crux of the problem. The grey areas. That their uncovering can so easily be turned into assaulting the whole in excuse.
Have a look at the world, we and other nations are high on the list of pathfinders and upholders of life on Earth. Still work to do.
The hype that we must be like this or that, or this must be done because of that, that desperation must be contrived for heights to suck the bottom dry. Has nothing to do whatsoever with pathfinding and upholding or our position in the world. As our comfort in it or our defence.
The fundament is also highly a conglomeration of human nature and much of it, certain types in extremes amongst humans. Much of it, brave lackey. Non thinking tools of the conglomeration.

They hide behind God and decency and family and community moral , pretending they have it. For that is what you do to pass as human. Many think parliament is there for them, that jobs are there for them, they have no foresight, vision, knowledge of angle to attack. They sit back , take and let the shit from it fall where it may. Burdens. Pets of the fundament, easily herded to ill sways. That’s where the title Honourable comes in. And the excuses.
The military industrial complex will welcome a war. In old decades past, it didnt take much of the peasants uprising and stirrings to promote one.
Africa is a an example of humanity. Populations and powers build and waves of slaughters flow till peace of mind and fitting in within a lands bounds capabilities to provide and survive steps in.
The course we are on is full of excuse over the whole for and from a minority that hammock up . Mans lot is the devil and they are it. Evident here in true history of our last decades.
The hardship imbalances dont have to be. It is for everyones betterment and quality of life but man is yet to sort the Fitzgerald hunted types from the fundamentals.
Until then the wolves decide with the lambs what to have for lunch.
