Tassie and SA, be afraid, be very afraid!

Tassie and SA, be afraid, be very afraid!TONY_WINTER_SM__57351.1378638419.1280.1280

OK, so you’ve both have current Labor Premiers, and your states are struggling, and in need of a change right?

Well A change to WHAT?

QLD decided that it wanted change, and we ended up with Campbell Newman, one of the most dishonest and destructive, fascist regimes that has ever raised its ugly head in this country.

Vic has just passed its own version of  QLD’s appalling VLAD laws, giving police the power to break up any demonstrations, even peaceful ones.   And curiously, just in time for the “March in March” protests across the country?   😉

NSW also has a  very unpopular LNP Government that thinks nothing of eroding workers and human rights, while supporting the big end of town.

But the really telling thing, and something that should start the ALARM BELLS ringing furiously is that Abbott said yesterday, that he is looking forward to working with “Likeminded state leaders” ?

“Likeminded”?   Is that what you really want for your great states?

As someone who has watched first hand, the degradation of QLD’s health system, schools, public services and civil rights under the “Likeminded” Newman who replaced an ALP government that was also on the nose, I can tell you that if you’re thinking it’s time for a change, be careful what you wish for?

Will your timely warning be heeded Truthy?
    Are those people even aware?
Or more accurately,do they even care?
That part of the brainwashed brain
That part that feels in so much pain
Is told by Murdoch, hey I`ll help ease your strain
Because you are mine and I have much to gain
So follow my advice because resistance is futile and vain.
So all you like minded, all aboard and get on my train.

Morning Biggy, thanks for that mate 😀 A great start to the day 😎

Mate I know it’s a big ask, but if we don’t tell them, who will? 😉 And if it gets a run on facebook and twitter, well you just never know? 😀

      Cheers mate 😀

  2. ” And curiously, just in time for the “March in March” protests across the country?”

That’s a little disingenuous – the law doesn’t come into effect until September. Coincidentally, just in time for the state election…

    • Truth Seeker says:

Unraveled, welcome 😀 and thanks for your comment 😎

      Thanks for the info. 😀
I wasn’t aware of the exact date that they come into effect, and legislation of that type usually has a projected start date, so that really was not the issue, but rather my reference was to the implied threat, and the likemindedness of collective LNP governments.

So my intent was not to be disingenuous, but rather to highlight the similarities of these RWNJ’s 😯

But watch this space, as the “March in March” is just the thin end of the wedge, and these laws will be used for political purposes, against “Peaceful” protests coming to a state near, you very soon! 😦

I hope you can join our conversations again? 🙂

      Cheers 😀

Yes, welcome, Unravelled. And thanks for the info. If you’re right, that means we’ve got a few nice months for peacefully going about our protesting business.

Morning Truthie, and I really appreciate this piece, as always. As a Tassie girl, I’m worried about the future of our little piece of Paradise. However, Labor has pretty well blown it down there. The State Greens are OK though, so I’m hoping they’ll pick up most of the lost votes.

        Love your work.

        • Truth Seeker says:

Morning Kate, and thanks for your comment and support 😎

Yes I wanted to post it this morning, to take advantage of the final 24 hours, for those who are still trying to make up their minds 😉

If enough share it, we might at least make a few people think twice before they vote? 😀

          Cheers 😀

            BTW, the Vic anti association laws, have had a fair bit of coverage overseas, through social media, as demonstrated by a part of an email I received last night from my sister in England, it reads;

…we are going backwards! How frustrating, your Murdoch loving
government, they say politicians and nappy’s should be changed often for the
            same reason!
            And now this……..

Victorian parliament in Australia passed a bill making protest illegal at
            1am this morning.

Police can now order you leave a political protest and then arrest you. In
case you were wondering if protest worked, the Liberals think it does. If
you wondering what a fascist police state looks like… stay silent… we
            will all see.

This was all over facebook this morning, If it’s true, it a sad day 😦

            Cheers 😉

    Dear Tony,

We understand what you mean by “like-minded” – sure as hell isn’t democratic definitely totalitarian.

Dear People of South Australia and Tasmania,

Speaking as a Victorian who has watched the previous LNP government completely “Jeff” my state by selling off everything the public owned, am now witnessing Dr Napthine neuter what is left of a once thriving state. SA and Tassie, please consider voting for Greens, even PUP, independents – ensure that whoever is in government is forced to govern democratically – we had a democratic Federal government for 3 years and it achieved a lot – for us not just the wealthy and powerful.

    Thank you

SA Liberal leader says ‘vote Labor’

South Australian Opposition Leader Steven Marshall has delivered a major gaffe on the eve of the state’s election, urging voters to re-elect Labor.
Mr Marshall is the Liberal leader.

At a confectionery manufacturer in Adelaide on Friday, Mr Marshall was asked whether he had spoken to other Liberal candidates about the need to avoid making mistakes when polls showed the party was so close to victory.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Cornie, thanks mate 😀 Now there’s a Freudian slip if ever I’ve heard one 😆 😆

      Cheers 😀

    • Frank Ston says:

      Ta! M8
I definitely preferred his first choice.

He obviously didn’t hear, know or recognise what he had said. That’s handy because it proves that one Liberal Leader is a proven DH, while the rest might be suspected of being cast from the same die.

  5. cornlegend says:

South Australian Opposition Leader Steven Marshall

“It’s been gruelling, there’s no doubt about it, but we’re only a few short hours now away from when the polls open and I think if people in South Australia want change, they want a better future, they want to grow our economy, then they need to vote Labor tomorrow.”

  6. cornlegend says:

I’ve got a feeling the March in March events for S.A. and Tassie will be no more than funeral processions

  7. cornlegend says:

Also have a feeling that the March in March in my region may turn into a fizzer,
The organisers here have decided to promote this march as a “March against Labor and Liberal Policies”
Guess i now have a free day 😦

  8. orangefox says:

Relax, Apparently Scott Morrison is cosidered PM material according to some media reports.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Orangefox, thanks for your comment 😀

But what difference would that make? 😯

They would just be going from one knob who takes forever to say anything, using two words at a time, with lots of ums and ahs in between, and then he repeats it, (as if we needed to hear that crap more than once) to another knob who says practically nothing at all 🙄

one thing you can say about the LNP; “They have an embarrassment of… embarrassments! 😯

      Cheers 😀

      • orangefox says:

Sorry if you thought I was serious although the media report was true. It doesn’t matter who they choose as leader the offal still smells the same.

        • Truth Seeker says:

Orangefox, no mate, I didn’t think you were serious, but I was very rushed with my replies, as we had a lot going on when we got home, so my replies were less than they should have been, sorry about that 😳 😉

I did include the smiley to let you know that I was just running with what you had provide, but It lost something in translation 😦

Yes, and the there wouldn’t be enough deodorant available to remove the smell of offal/ bullshit that will forever permeate the air around Morrison 😯

          Cheers mate 😀

Smart people learn by other people’s mistakes, fools learn by their own.Looks like the jokes they make about Tassie aren’t jokes after all.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Dr Rob, thanks for your comment 😎

sadly you’re right, but the really telling election was the SA election where the LNP should have won hands down if you believe all the BS, so the fact that they lost, is a real blow, and the start of the slide back to political irrelevance ( which is where they belong 😯 )

      Cheers 😀
