Tony’s “Utilities R Us”!

Tony’s “Utilities R Us”!

There has never been an Australian government that needs and deserves a hostile senate, more than this mob!

If we look at the LNP state governments, particularly QLD, we see that one of the first things that Newman did was to start dismantling the checks and balances (Red Tape), so that he can do as he likes with impunity… and he is.!   😯

There are also the VLAD (Anti Association) laws, which they are starting to introduce into Vic, and expect other LNP states to follow suit, with WA already trying to crack down on Bikies, which is just the thin end of the wedge!

And then there’s Hockey, passing the buck to state govs WRT the assets sell off (Read FIRE-SALE) , with the states copping the flack from the electorates, while he claims that they— the Federal LNP— have kept their promise to build infrastructure!   WTF?outrage1+

There is also the small matter of our manufacturing industry, shutting up shop (Pardon the pun   😉   ) and shedding potentially tens of thousands of jobs, while the Abbott sticks to the ideological path of slash, burn and sell.

Now we all know that there are the “Puppet Masters” behind the scenes, pulling the strings, but Tony Abbott is the PM that chose, for the sake of his own blind ambition, to become “The Puppet” of international vested interests

So when you break it all down, the real problem is Abbott, as he tries to run Australia, from the saddle of his pushie, with his three word slogans and his policy vacuum.

Tony’s Utilities R Us!

All the time I sit and wince

Whilst watching Abbott the evil prince

As he Umms and Ahhs and dribbles shit

The Abbott man (?) is a right wing git

He tells us that he’s doing well

But he has that strong decaying smell

Of anachronistic policy thinking

That sees his numbers quickly sinking

With Knights and Dames he’s set the stage

To take us to a bygone age

Of Downton Abbey’s class divide

Where workers rights are swept aside

And Sir Rupert Murdoch rules the roost

So the citizenry are… royally goosed

With priorities set and badly skewed

By this LNP mob that will see us… screwed

And six months in I continue to simmer

At a Liberal agenda, that couldn’t be grimmer

We’re “Open for business” was the Abbott’s catch cry

Except that our industries are proving the lie

With Australian Icons, all set to quit

And the LNP dumping us right in the shit

With their old ideologies and mega brain farts

And no policy goers, but many false starts

And when Abbott’s caught lying, there is no contrition

And he continues to act like he’s in opposition

With bad “Three word” slogans and his policy farce

It’s clear to most thinkers… He talks through his arse

He’s a PM pretender, and an oxygen thief

And his only legacy, will be Australia’s grief

Cos he lies through his sneer, and the facts he ignores

For the sake of “The Madame”, and the LNP whores

And their rich mates who’ll line up to wait for their share

Of the spoils from the sacking of… Australia fair

As he pushes austerity with motives so suss

And his “Open for Business”… means.. “Utilities R Us”

And his mental asylum followers dance down “the road of ruin” with him shouting “the debt the debt” and he`s “stopped the boats”
Meanwhile Morrison`s visiting Cambodia`s Hun Sen to offer him 30,000 human souls that can`t be dealt with in soulless Australia because bigotry and racism are back in vogue.
Truthy the ammo this lot give to opponents of the “Regime` of Farce” grows daily with even darling 🙂 saying each morning-and in her words-something that`s happened only since Abbott got elected-and she has never and I repeat never been interested in politics before-Darling 🙂 says “I wonder what the fucking idiot is going to do to us today? 🙂 ”
I must say at least she`s calm about it all.

      Morning Biggy, 😀

Yes mate, for us, they are the gift that keeps on giving 😉

And mate, your Darling 🙂 is not the only one that is getting involved in politics for the first time, and it’s not just here, but around the world 😯

      Cheers 😀

  2. Great poem, that pretty much sums up the stupidity going on in the name of a quick buck for a select few.

Bridget, welcome to Truth Seekers Musings, 🙂 and thanks for your comment and feedback 😎

So true, but then what else would we expect from a government (gag) , bought and paid for by the likes of Murdoch? 👿

Thanks for joining in, and I hope you can join our conversations again 🙂

      Cheers 😀

      • It’s just a shame that so many are so gullible, and do not dig deep enough to find out the truth of what is really going on. The Murdoch/Rinehart(largest share at Fairfax) press is not proper journalism as it is extremely right winged biased, and is deplorable! Maybe the shenanigans of our current crew will awaken some from slumber. The March in March protests, in which nearly 1 million protested against Abbott, wasn’t even mentioned in NewsCorp or Fairfax, the only mention being the St Patrick Day March! Yet, there is power in word of mouth, and I guess the best we can do is fight to keep the ABC! I invite you to my beautiful page at and welcome your contribution. cheers and blessings, Bridget 🙂

Bridget, thanks for your comment 😎

yes indeed, our MSM have done a wonderful job of pushing their owners agendas, to the detriment of this nation. 😦

And I agree that the March In March, was very poorly reported, to the point of being totally ignored 😯 although I have to say , that I was under the impression that the number of actual marchers was around 110,000, which in itself is a great show of people power, and was, I thought, more than enough to warrant ‘across the board coverage’, and not the thinly veiled dismissals that were forthcoming, hidden in the middle of a few papers. 😦

Thank you for your kind invitation, and I will certainly pop in and check it out your beautiful page 🙂

Cheers and blessings to you too 🙂

          • There were 200,000 people march in Sydney ( as was posted on fb the day after), 30,000 plus in Melbourne, over 10,000 in Adelaide etc Nationwide. Whatever the real number was, the next march Nationwide is 31st of August 2014! I think there will be even more people there!

        • cornlegend says:

          good onya Bridget,
          Keep fighting,
The numbers will grow as Abbott impacts, specially if he gets control of the Senate after tomorrow.

          • Let’s hope Clive Palmer is less conservative and more ‘community minded’ than Tony, as I think most decisions will be in his jurisdiction!

            • Truth Seeker says:

Bridget, thanks for that, I’m not on FB, so I can only go on the numbers from the different sites that I visit 😉

I hope you’re right about clive being more community minded if he does control the balance of power, but I have serious doubts, about at least some of his motives 😯

And I would rather see the LNP lose a couple of the senate seats to the ALP, or even one each to the ALP and the greens, before Palmer, cos he’s still a pretty rabid conservative, and was a life member of the LNP, until he had a falling out with our own little fascist dictator… Newman. 👿

Glad to have you on board 😀

              Cheers 😀

Morning Truthie, how are you on this lovely Saturday morning, hopefully the people from WA wake up this morning and realise that they have an opportunity to deal this government another blow, i would love to see the look on TA’s face if the Libs don’t do well…….hehehe you would be able to see the dummy spit all the way from Japan if they didn’t get the numbers for the Senate. On a brighter note it is possible that the CLP up here in the Northern Territory could be forced to go too the polls if they lose the bi-election in blain, the CLP have been real a….holes just lately and things aren’t looking to flash for them. In closing i just want to throw something out there….could the budget emergency that Joe has been banging on about for god knows how long be because of: Operation Soverign Borders and Off shore processing in Manus and Naru, think about it……it must cost them a fortune to keep the navy boats out on the water doing the job that customs is meant to be doing anyway, the orange life boats, the new contracts for transfield, new buildings for Manus and Naru, payments made to PNG and Naru for taking asylum seekers, also the money spent on wages for the navy staff, immigraton staff, IHMS, detention centre staff on Manus and Naru, accommodation costs (the floating hotel), it would be interesting to see how much it all cost.

    • cornlegend says:

Hockey is working on his Budget,
He’ll find ways of paying for all that with slugging Pensioners, People with disabilities, Newstart ,the ordinary workers, anyone that doesn’t fit the LNP mould.

    • Truth Seeker says:

Morning Wazman, and I hope it’s good one in WA too 😀 and thanks for your comment 😎

Trying to catch up on some mowing 😉

Mate, yes it would be great to see Abbott get the flogging he deserves. 😀

There are a few details about the costs, Kaye Lee writes some great stuff on AIMN, in the link I gave on the previous thread, and Alan Austin at IA writes some terrific articles on the economy and the “Budget emergency”, if you’re interested. 😀

      Cheers 😀

I’ve been very appreciative of the media in giving me up to date info on how Tony has been performing in the PMs position.
So, armed with this knowledge, I took 30 minutes this morning to fill out my voting slip (slip ??), numbering each of the 77 boxes, and putting the appropriate numbers against Tonys camp members.

AND, the bad news was,,,,, there was NO sausage sizzle at the polling joint I went to. Jeez !!#%$
Naturally, like a good brainwashed citizen, I blamed that on the Carbon Tax.

It’s been hell in Perth this week, pollies everywhere, worse than a plague of locusts.
Campaign speeches coming from every corner of our environment.
There was no escape. My nightmares were full of it.

    This cartoon was inspired by the weeks events . . . . . .
