The Abbott’s been defrocked…

The Abbott’s been defrocked…Abbott's head1+

With the advent of the Turdball’s PMship, and the apparent demise of the Abbott, followed by his promise to be a good team player   😯   who won’t destabilise or whiteant, this poem was just waiting to be written.     😀

And as that promise, immediately went the way of  the Dodo, and Abbott’s other promises, and Turdball has already shown himself to be just another LNP Turdbullshitter, it’s hardly surprising that there are already major problems for the current iteration of the LNP, and I use the term loosely, “government”   😯

The Abbott’s been defrocked…

The Abbott’s been defrocked

And it’s not a pretty sight

With his budgie smugglers glowing

In the Turdballs shining light

With Jules Bitch-chops turned traitor

And the mincing poodle too

And over half his party room

Dumping Abbott in the poo

😛

The polls said people hated him

So they knew he had to go

But the Abbott’s grand delusion told him

He must run the show

And the Turdball’s a pretender

Truly hated by the right

And his pugilistic attitude meant

He was ready for a fight

😯

But the backroom machinations

Were beyond the Abbott’s nous

As the Turdball schemed and plotted

With the shills from Menzies house

But in securing a majority

He was digging a big hole

And the only way to fill it

Was to sell his right wing soul

😈

So he discarded all his principles

And his ideology

And signed up to the rabid right

For to lead the LNP

And just scraping in the numbers

He engineered his coup

Knowing fully what he promised

Would serve up a motley crew

👿

But he persevered so doggedly

Until he won the day

Telling lies and obfuscating

In the good old Liberal way

With a coterie of nut-jobs

Who all want their pound of flesh

And will never let him dictate terms

On policies that are fresh

🙄

So he chose the only cabinet

His supporters would allow

With Bitch-cops as his deputy

The rabid right wing cow

And Malcontent Be-Rough

As special minister of state

Responsible for integrity

As well as Ashbygate

😈

While Wyatt Roy and Chrissy Pyne

Were warming the front bench

Along with many others

That were tainted by the stench

But he dumped the Abbott’s treasurer

Joe Hockey was replaced

By Snott Morescum from the rabid right

Who’s obviously two faced

😕

While the Abbott said he’d tow the line

And be a good team player

Whilst hiding in the shadows

Like a Liberal Vampire slayer

He said whiteanting’s not his style

But as usual Abbott lied

And he just won’t give up till the Turdball’s

PMship is fried

😛

So he’ll sit there on the back bench

And he’ll wear his sickly smile

As he backgrounds Muddicks Journos

With his venom and his bile

To destabilise the moderates

Who stabbed him in the back

Encouraging division

And exploiting every crack

😯

And he didn’t have to wait too long

For corruptions ugly head

To rise above the parapet

Of a problem they hoped was dead

The theft of Slipper’s diary

Which may prove the smoking gun

That shoots the Turdball in the foot

And means his honeymoon is done

😛

The Abbott’s been defrocked

But he isn’t down and out

Cos the rabid right still love him

And his pugilistic clout

His ambition still burns brightly

Though his talent falls well short

But to give him credit where it’s due

He’s a master of the rort

😈

And the moral of the story is

You shouldn’t sell your soul

Or shirtfront a mad pugilist

Who’s a rabid right arsehole

As it may come back to bite you

Cos a bully’s never done

And in the rabid LNP

Of morals there are none

😛

Ah a very purposeful prose Truthy 🙂 at capturing some of the Federal shenanigans which is no mean feat in itself as even JBish has used RAAF JBish1 to fly to a charity event at enormous expense to everyone but her.
Also the non sniping retaliatory Monkey Pod is gorging on overripe fruit fallen from the Press Gallery Trees and they`re drunkenly espousing the first thing that comes into the collective heads and exiting the posteriors with Tony`s Baboon squad of Bernardi-Abetz and Andrews who no doubt will engage JBish sniping with Tony as and when/where needed.
The Abbott has been defrocked as you succinctly put,but his hair shirt is now visible to all.
    Well done Truthy 😎

Morning Biggy 🙂 and thanks for that 😀

Yes mate, the whole right wing polity is a dogs breakfast, going into the summer break, and I’m still tipping an early election 😉

But you can bet Turdball’s hoping for some clear air over the break, to regroup and set a few diversions for the new year 😯

And it looks like the greens have made a deal with the LNP to stop magnate kidnapping 😯 Bloody hypocrites! 😈

      Cheers mate 🙂

Oh I forgot to pose a question concerning the Canberra Summer break Truthy 🙂
Do you think Tony`s Monkey Pod will go ape over the long recess or will they just continue to eat the abundant overripe fallen fruit?

Did PM host Christmas drinks for the media this year? Not much Christmas cheer in either house today.

I am glad you are well and truely back in the saddle, we all missed you. Your poet Laurette appointment must be in the mail after this splended effort, or maybe the thought police may already be knocking on your door to take you away with the Bish (claw your eyes out Catwoman) on her next Perth flight.

    Nice work Truthy,
Have been over at the Guardian today following Turnbull’s parliamentary schemozzles.

The Greens are again supping with the devil – when will they learn that doing deals with the LNP invariably produces a no win result.
Let’s hope they don’t get the opportunity to do a ‘Meg Lees’ and saddle us plebs with a 50% rise in the GST.
Sadly, it is a fact that minor parties can never be trusted not to seek relevancy by doing ‘self serving’ deals with professional shysters like the LNP.

We would still have an ETS (and probably would not have had to suffer Abbott) if it wasn’t for their 2009 attempt to seek CPRS legislative perfection by supporting the denialist/vandalous LNP

Hey John 🙂 Thanks mate 😀

Yes, I’ve also been over at the Guardian, following the comments, but for some really obscure reason, I keep getting moderated 😯 and I have no idea why 😡

The first time, I thought it was because I put up a link to my last piece, which never used to be a problem, but I’ve also had a couple of other comments canned for no reason that I can think of 🙄

The last one just said “The greens are bloody hypocrites” 😯

Yes – I noticed a few blank spaces below your callsign, couldn’t work out why.
You are not one who writes obnoxious comments – perhaps a green moderator didn’t like hearing the truth.

We complain about the lack of democratic process within the ALP, but the Greens are much worse.
Apparently the decision to do the ‘tax’ deal was taken by an elite executive few, without reference to other party executive members.

Yes mate, that was my first thought too, but there were much more critical comments than mine, that were still there 😯

The leadership selection process for the greens, is one that bought a lot of very critical comments too, as there is no democratic process for the membership, they just seem to get told who won 😯

The silly thing is that if they’re not careful, they’ll go the same way as the Democrats, all for the sake of trying to gain some relevance 😦

If they fail to establish proper democratic process in their governance they have not learnt the lessons that should be so obvious due current experience of our two major parties.
A fledgling minor party is especially vulnerable to corrupt influences – the only protection is proper enfranchisement of party members.
With current common knowledge and experience of corporate infiltration tactics, to my mind it constitutes willful dereliction of executive duty to provide responsible party management.
For a party that professes to stand for and practice higher ethical standards, it is a fail.

Good morning Truthy.. Yes I couldn’t believe it when I saw that you had joined me in the ‘pit of the great unwashed’ in the Guardian. No way would your comment have been worthy of that ! I had put in a link to your previous poem with no hassles. I have previously asked for REALLY offensive comments to be dumped .. most times they are, but I cannot see any consistency in their moderating.
The air is certainly fresher on this side of the rainbow.. Thanks to your site Truthy. 🙂

TS, don’t worry too much about the Guardian at the moment, they are doing some maintenance and as my late mother would say “it’s all over the place like a mad woman’s shit”‘
BTW, if I said that I’d be called all kind of things, but I reckon she felt that sexism didn’t count if a good laugh was to be had.
