Truthy, i have a Cooktown orchid that always gives me flowers for Anzac day. This year it has kept on flowering and still has two out and another on the way to opening.
The rain rots the mango flowers. They need a long dry winter for good success and good drainage. The old pioneer trees that were at the Country club hotel had bitumen around them in later decades, up to the trunk and no matter the season they were loaded.

What that means to me of the orchids is that we are in for storms and hail later on. That is what i’ve felt of the seasons and been telling everyone since last year before the orchids did their thing this year. October for the thunderstorms. But it’s strange because i hear of el nino predictions.

Was just reading that the US has had millions of jelly fish wash up that live thousands of feet below. Humbolt current. When OZ is in drought, sth America has good seasons and visa v. I found a west Qld area in opal country that is a thermometer for it- the changes.
When the scrub grows there, sth A. Is in drought, when drought, sth A. Is in good seasons. There are trees dead of all ages. Some older on the ground are anything up to 30 yrs old though they could have been there for a few hundred years.
Apparently, no one has seen the jelly fish thing before so I dont know what that means or if something drastic is coming.
My cooktown orchids have done this before years ago and i did know what followed but cant remember now.
My Dad was from Cooktown , childhood years, hence the orchid.

I dont know your lung troubles but your area would be hard on me with lungs. The biggest part of my heart trouble up that way living in the car was pneumonia. Mine was from rain and living wet. 7 months with it. No wonder i felt like crap. 4 weeks on antibiotics. There was also a viral pneumonia getting around the sth east some months ago that would still be doing the rounds. People with that were taking 6 weeks to get back on their feet with antibiotics. Sounds like Russ’s trouble. I had pneumonia when i was a kid in the sixties. Was going unconcious, Redcliffe hospital sent me home for Mum to treat. Pounding my back all hours of the night and day. Had to sleep on a 45 degree angle for 3 weeks so i didnt drown. No one to complain to or get help from in matters like that in those days. Esoecially agsinst hospitals and doctors. We werent in the “in” crowd.

Morning Truthy, the shed is the last place you need to stick your head into with lung troubles, especially pulling out old timber guitars. Most things in this world counteract wet wood weather with copper. Aside from some sceptism like that on IA of vitamins etc, some have a copper source.
Studies on people who live to ripe old ages and over 100, even drinkers, smokers, showed they had good levels of S.O.D. super oxidate dimutase. It is made by the body by the right proportions of copper and zinc. Either 5 or ten to one. A super protector. Some people and bloodlines have higher levels than others .It can be supplemented and some multi vitamins have the copper and zinc mix in them if you read the packet. Many don’t.
Other medical studies have shown that the healthiest people in the world are US doctors who take vitamins, some in big doses. There is much to say on the matter.
During a height of the US health system slaughter , invasion of politics and pharma corruption, the medical researchers who make the discoveries for pharma rebelled. One of George Bush’s relatives and a few others put a book out of the info they released. It is called something like- Natural medicines that do work that drug companies dont want you to know about.

It’s about 10 or so dollars on ebay. It has a wealth of info and explains the politics of health, drug companies, hows and why’s etc. It has all the basic ailments of humans in laymans language of real causes and cures and preventative diets. A tiny bit of the info has changed since it came out over a decade ago but basically all there. Asking around sorts it. It is a GREAT read from back to front and education. All the little secrets and basics insurance, pharma and quacks have known for decades. Given away by the University researchers.

Morning Mel, sorry you were feeling a bit under the weather ( not getting the dreaded lurgy I hope). Things are ‘on the up’ here, the sun is trying to shine, and I am gradually getting the house ship shape again after visitors.
HO is ‘talking to’ the computer trying to make an adv to sell our beloved 8mtr Isuzu bus/ motorhome. We had it made A Class, solar, self contained etc, fitted out in NZ and shipped it over 16yrs ago.. To explore Aussie for a year… Well Aussie is much bigger than it looked on our map, so we took much longer than that… And we are still here!
But it’s time to sell our pride and joy as we don’t use her much at all now… We spend a lot of time in Brissy for HO’s chemo and can’t travel the country as we used to.
Our Kiwi family enjoyed their annual trip to Aust, as they always do. They love it over here so much that they ..almost.. Cheered for the Wallabies a couple of times during the match last night. I was stunned! … Needed another red wine ( for the cough ), to get over that one!
Hope you are feeling better Mel … Take a day off from kitchen duties, I’ve donated you one of our left ova pavlovas, (Kiwi fruit of course), so you can share it with the boys, relax in the spa with Sven … Or Beau on the toes .. Brilliant!

Some words on the fight. I read of moves in comments on Davids Bank and debt article of seizing crown lands on IA. The Murdoch owned are presently putting through parliament a bill or something to allow timber harvesting in Tasmania’s reserves. Which is i believe an encroachment on crown land. The legal mechanics. Now at the very same time this is put into play, those of the same club are doing a big hit on the environment laws in the US. This is corpiratism and through our owned, not by us but paid for, public serpents. Looks highly organised. Meanwhile too, our poor and sick for years have been hunted like feral cats unable to park or put up a tent to survive on common lands in their many and varied plights. The right also taken off us as well as media air to voice of it, the extent and how long its gone on. Meanwhile as well, public housing is used for placing ex prisoners above the general public. Or so it seems in my area. 3 in my blocks. Area seems similar, some blocks have been sold or handed to church groups etc. ( I would strongly suggest from past practice when the right is frothing at the mouth that elitism and cronyism will have something to do with placements and where. )All over drugs , crime and psyche conditions. One guy took to hiding knives at convenient places around the buildings. Cops cop here looking for him, supposed to be under some oversight guidance scheme. He invited an elderly man from another unit to his unit for a beer some time ago and was pounding his face within 5 minutes. All’s fine for me by the way, he quickly vacates when i show my head. All this in units built with no sound proofing. Just for the comfort of owned inmates or convenience for heights to make a show of trouble that public housing and the poor are? All the drug and psyche cases have to be housed but it is at the expense of the general citizen as Murdochracy kills off and sells public housing. Free trade is rich man advantage.

As stated of who the debt situation hurts of the community, also not to be forgotten is the legal and health trade etc cashing in on the manufactured prey and forced circumstances of drug and alcohol abuse , smashed families, love lives , futures, tomorrows , basic existance needs etc. Crime and manufactured prey.
Which comes back to labour and conditions, housing etc.
Of the middle east Biggy, I know that the area is the gateway to African land and wider prospering and hopefully better management. Of Rothchild , Murdoch or Christians and Zionists, it was put to me a long time ago that much matter was over voting numbers. Of being outvoted.

The corporate world is highly connected globally, intricately highly connected and to security etc. As the matter of health and legal systems , forestry and emvironmental plans , sovereignty and ownership of people and their rights also comes into it.
I will also add insurance and investment and pharma companies etc into that list. The plays are bigger than the people now, especially with media distractions.
Reading those posts on IA , one vein runs through the lot. Of perceptions, ways and means and ideas of doing things. This sounds good, that sounds great and people get cranky at each other trying to work it all out but you have Murdochracy. In all those matters in the posts. That is the common stumbling block of a better country for all of us. Thst, and realizing the extent of the assaults and manipulations. High grade. Heights has an agenda.

Gough was a showman, he got screwed over, rolled as he called it. But there was much more behind it all. He had good thoughts for the country but this country isn’t ours, or his. Amongst it was the fly river, New Guinea’s independence , liabilities and the fact 4 members of the five fingers have mined there ever since. Then there is the matter of the onus of proof and benefit of the doubts laws my Father was murdered over. Paving the way for the US health and legal system on us and corporate and institution ownership of us. Bob Hawke gave the US a running commentary on goings on. Many were’nt in the know, it was done through intelligence lines and full run with Murdoch’s theatre. After the US ambassador came over and shook Goughs hand delighted and exclaimed they’d never interfere with our govt again. Wouldnt have to after what was done. A few good years but slowly downhill and training each new generation to it. Gough bought Blue Poles to celebrate. Pollack was obsessed with Indian territory, like many of his era.
It’s an old painters trick to be able to see basics and an outline, getting rid of details, to squint, close your eyes for a dim vision. Do that to blue poles and you’ll see a sunrise through alder and aspens in the snow. Out of the cold for the institutions. Into the shit for the people. Some say Gough overindulged in himself.
And the chief justice stole over a hundred million dollars off the people over years, untouched. Makes you wonder where that went and what for. Nothing escaped unnoticed from Murdoch or security. Too much to say on it, people, dates , times, history, political history, movements, lies and outright bullshit.
It’s said Keating pushed the privatising. My take on that knowing govt workings is that opportunism lay in privatising because of liability. That’s how it’s sold to the people. The govt had no liability . The little people fell here and there. Privatising is supposed to be pressured by liability. But we forget corporate and owning courts and the legal markets. Now all hooked up to national security where , as Snowden put it, excuses fall out of trees with them. Human nature is still the same and private and friendships still rule like how Ned Kelly and family got roughed up for a nation of cattle and horse thieves and sadistic robber barons. But, who’s got time sorting others cattle from their own in unfenced hundred square miles of paddocks or working shorthanded with 150 wild cattle to cut and deliver 6 year old wild cattle back to owners. Thats what started it.
Like Don Lane, who stood on a lot of beurocrats toes standing up for people fell to jail before murderers and gangsters . And pollies powers fell under Gough too, to intervene for you, handed to the legal markets and a lot of good thats done for millions since. No privvy council reviews. Fitzgerald matters put under wraps for 65 years? Why? Interesting to see old matters popping up of late. Mculkin mother and daughters dissapearance, the container under the ground on the border, Rogerson in jail for murder after all these years , finally. They’ve been at it for years. All the old Sydney heroin addicts been telling stories up here about Sydney cops going back to the 70’s and since the 70’s. Talking all concerned now for the Whiskey au gogo victims. Memorials and all like they care. Someones died upstairs. Murphies one . Have’nt bothered looking for who else. Political and other business. Murphy did a lot of good too. And a lot of chores. Papers of late reading like all blame should fall to him. Bury it with him. Like heights want to do with Murdoch. And continue with their games, just like the “Joke” and their takings over the people. Old trails.

I reckon they should have privatised the management and policed it of peoples utilities etc. God knows the public serpents corrupt, been that way since Cook landed. But so does private and corpirate in the game of bullshit for the mushrooms and rich man’s advantage. And health and legal markets etc. Heights corrupt our services for an excuse to make changes too. Have to police them, the private, why didnt they when the people owned the services? Excuse , opportunism and rich mans advantage.
That’s what Gough was trying to make better amongst a very corrupt , inneffecient and deadly old world. I think things have changed and much should be reviewed of directions and excuses. But then there’s oligarchies and corpirates and owned public serpents to deal with. And their unions have been shitting all over the peoples for centuries.
A lot of whitch hunts around and there’s anger storming off in many directions. People dont understand this but the environment is a common uniting cause. But gangster rules.
We have to stop this thinking that rich is right. But they jump us every turn and with red carpet service. One bottom line is, address the foundations and the battered.
Time to try and sleep, go to that frame of mind that this country is what it should be.
Hurts knowing what it could be and could’ve. To much to say on all the above.

About the trouble halfway up the street. It only visits there, doesnt live there.Just does work in the yard and uses the car there sometimes.

Whole economies and profit vacuuming of the populace are completely bypassing any public benefit or use of. Siphoned off to privateers and big corpirates. We have a foot on our heads and the corpirate set are making and establishing a global wide base to vacuum and do deals over. What goes on while some address Canberra politics-which must be done, even though it is often planned distraction, is already underway. That of which we may or not eventually hear about long after the fact. 5 sometimes up to 10 or 15 years. The real game is on now. Plans made in the shadows years ago, lurks the “in crowd” have gotten onto or the rural. That is life.
Best minor way to describe it is how farmers of the ” in ” crowd were warned up to 5 or more years before that bulldozing and forest clearing was going to be stopped in Qld. That was in the build up to the boom. They went beserk. Of course a premier of the sheep is always ready to become a hero and sound science manager of the environment and announce that he is stopping clearing in Murdochs rags. 5 years or so after the fact. Then half ? or so of Australia was sold to foreign ownership?
Those not of the political ilk, in crowd or wheat boards shot themselves by the dozen.

The right and rich and the rag trade of thuggery and eye gouging thst follows it , took control years ago and shaped the public serpentry and governance to it’s ilk. We must always trailblaze through them for their greater benefit and comfort stations. Than all walk in the one direction together. The art of Murdoch.
Team Australia. Time to all pull together the squeak comes down the chain. And as we flush ourselves with it to riotous laughter above, the circle of life is fulfilled in perpetual motion of a system for some.

Morning Truth Seekers 😀 and what a great day for internet users, as the mendacious Turdball tells us that all we need, into the futureless is less than 20% of what most of the rest of the world have now… WTF? 😯

I’ll be writing something about this later, but am currently working on a piece about local terrorism, which I hope to post tomorrow? 😉

    Cheers 😀

Morning Biggy 😀 mate, I know how you feel after hearing the latest litany of lies flowing incessantly from the LNP 😈 in their efforts to sell the fudge-it that no-one wants 🙄

And Turdball treating us like we’re all idiots 😡

Maybe if we all focus on the same asteroid, we could get it to hit right on the lNP party room?…. 😉

      Cheers mate 😀

      Good morning, fellow fun seekers.
Biggie, I’m surprised at you. I would’ve thought that you would recognise that there are so many ‘self-appointed’ ‘stars’ in Canberra that they would generate a gravity field through which no asteroid could penetrate.
If you doubt me, ask any of them.
Apparently the faults in the budget are all Labor’s , the fact that the budget has not passed in it’s entirety is singularly the fault of Labor, apparently Labor’s adherence to fundamental beliefs and policies is a cruel device, the sole purpose of which is to frustrate the gaffernment.
This lot of born to rule, turkey-jerkers, are so far up themselves they’re at least 5 days ahead of the rest of the country.

Hi strangers, yeah still kicking. Just a mention on the ABC”s reporting on the Gosford Anglican Church billboard. The article is titled “Meet the man behind church’s controversial signs of the times”.
So now the ABC finds truth controversial …… oh boy oh boy!

Yes, Gilly and on 9 this morning Miranda Devine was holding court on the evils that are done when a Minister of Religion fails to observe the standard separation of State from Church.
Fortunately one of the panellists pointed out that religions of any denomination have an opportunity and/or an obligation to reflect the standards of the community as a whole.
IMHO that fact ought to be abundantly obvious to any individual who professes a faith based, in part at least, upon the teachings of Christ.
Like Ghandi, I find the teachings admirable, the practice less so (with the notable exception of the Anglican Minister in Gosford).
