Why is Israel committing suicide?
Netanyahu’s genocidal onslaught in Gaza has done more to delegitimize the Zionist entity than the work of all the world’s anti-Zionists put together. Yet the Israeli military cannot stop the Palestinian resistance; from an Israeli standpoint, the hecatomb in Gaza serves no military or strategic purpose.
Is Israel insane?
That is a rhetorical question. The real question is: WHY is Israel lashing out like a nation gone mad?
At least since the first Intifada – and arguably since 1948 – Israel has had a de facto official policy of butchering Palestinian children. (For details, see my recent article “Child-Killing Sociopaths of Israel.”)
But until now they were sane enough to hide it.
Today they are bragging about it. On the very day I wrote my article about Israel’s policy of intentionally mass-murdering children, Israeli sniper David D. Ovadia posted a picture of himself with his sniper rifle on Instagram boasting: “I killed 13 childrens (sic) today and ur next ***ing muslims go to hell bitches.” Rather than prosecuting this war criminal, the Israeli media and authorities are making a half-hearted effort to cover up the crime – just as they did with the more than 600 sniper murders of defenseless children documented by British Medical Journal in 2004.
On Sunday, the Israelis intentionally bombed a United Nations school full of refugees, many of them children, killing more than ten and wounding dozens. It was the seventh UN school they have bombed during the current round of slaughter. When they butchered children in a UN school last week, Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called it “reprehensible.” This time he called the child massacre a “moral outrage” and a “a criminal act.”
The strategic insanity of such actions beggars belief. What do the Israelis think they are doing? Former US Senate Counsel Jeff Gates, author of Guilt by Association, argues that Zionist actions, no matter how crazy they look, are the product of elaborate strategic calculations. The Zionists, he writes, are masters of game theory – a psychopathic technique for following utterly amoral mathematical self-interest in pursuing ones objectives.
If Gates is right, the Zionists must be taking desperate measures because they are in a desperate situation. In my recent article “Israel: A cornered rat” I explained why the Israelis are desperate: The are facing a demographic challenge; the Palestinian resistance is getting better at asymmetrical warfare; and global public opinion (especially American public opinion) is gradually, inexorably turning against them.
But I left out what may be the most important factor: The slow, steady progress of the 9/11 truth movement.
The past week brought three landmark breakthroughs for 9/11 truth. First, Richard Gage AIA, founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, made a brilliant appearance on the American public affairs channel C-Span. It was the first time since 2006 that C-Span had given national television coverage to the 9/11 truth movement. (I organized the first nationally-televised C-Span 9/11 truth event – David Ray Griffin’s “9/11 and American Empire” talk at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005; and then in June 2006 C-Span covered a Scholars for 9/11 Truth event in Los Angeles.)
David Ray Griffin, the unofficial “dean of 9/11 studies” and a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, congratulated Richard Gage:

The second 9/11 truth breakthrough this week was the success of the High Rise Safety Initiative in New York City, which would force a new investigation of the obvious (but officially denied) controlled demolition of World Trade Center Building 7. Organizers of the initiative finished gathering the 100,000 signatures they need to override a mayoral veto, virtually guaranteeing that the initiative will be voted on by the citizens of New York. Since Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth has acquired WTC-7’s blueprints and found slam-dunk proof of demolition, and since organized crime kingpin Larry Silverstein’s confession to demolishing WTC-7 has become widely known, the new investigation by New York’s Department of Buildings is threatening to rip the lid off the Pandora’s box of 9/11 scandals.
The week’s third 9/11 truth triumph was in the US Congress. The effort to force the declassification of 28 top-secret pages in the Joint Congressional Inquiry got a huge boost when two more Congressmen, Representatives Thomas Massie (R-KY) and John Duncan (R-Tenn), joined the campaign – a bipartisan effort spearheaded by Rep. Steve Lynch (D-MA) and Walter Jones (R-NC), and vocally supported by former Senator Bob Graham (D-FL).
A few days ago Sen. Graham once again spoke out, saying: “None of the people leading this investigation think it is credible that 19 people — most who could not speak English and did not have previous experience in the United States — could carry out such a complicated task without external assistance.” Graham added that a “huge breakthrough” is coming for 9/11 truth.
Whose “external assistance” enabled the 9/11 attacks? Rep. Walter Jones, who has read the suppressed pages of the Report, blames “one or more foreign governments.” The two countries on everyone’s lips are Saudi Arabia and Israel.
The Report apparently does not mention a third government whose officials helped perpetrate 9/11: the government of the United States of America, whose Vice President briefly usurped the role of the President of the United States and directed the 9/11 false flag operation from the White House Situation Room.
But back to the Saudis and Israelis.
In 2001 Saudi Arabia allowed the CIA to borrow fifteen Saudi intelligence assets and bring them to the US on “snitch visas” – special visas used to reward Saudi CIA assets with a trip to America. These fifteen young men, some from the Kingdom’s leading families, were shadowed, impersonated, and in some cases apparently replaced by doubles. (The pork-chop-loving “Mohammed Atta” in Florida was a fluent speaker of Hebrew according to his stripper girlfriend Amanda Keller.)
The Israeli Mossad appears to have been responsible for surveilling and setting up the 19 patsies, 15 of them Saudis, who would be blamed for 9/11; reports by journalists Christopher Ketcham and Justin Raimondo, and an investigative report by Carl Cameron of Fox News, revealed that Israel mounted the biggest spy operation ever against the US as it surveilled (or “ran”) the 9/11 hijacker-patsies. Hundreds of 9/11-related Israel spies were arrested; all were quickly released on orders from above.
The Israeli Mossad also set up the controlled demolitions of the Twin Towers and WTC-7. Zionist crime kingpins Larry Silverstein, Lewis Eisenberg and Frank Lowy arranged for the condemned-for-asbestos World Trade Center to be “privatized” two months before 9/11 and doubled the terror insurance; and Mossad agents Paul Kurzberg, Silvan Kurzberg, Israelis Yaron Shmuel, and Omer Gavriel Marmari were arrested on the morning of 9/11 as they were filming and celebrating their agency’s handiwork. Though the 9/11-perp Mossad agents failed polygraph tests, Michael Chertoff, a US-Israeli dual citizen then in charge of the FBI’s Criminal Investigation Division, killed the investigation and ordered the “dancing Israelis” sent back to Israel.
Three Israelis were also arrested in New York on 9/11 with a truck load of explosives in an apparent effort to blow up the George Washington Bridge. Chertoff ordered mobbed-up New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik to destroy all records of the arrest, and witnesses have been murdered; but the New York Police audio recording of the arrest escaped destruction and can be heard on YouTube.

What can Israel do about the coming revelations of its role in the 9/11 attacks?
The answer is simple: Israel must “flee forward” into an ever-widening spiral of global war; because if peace ever breaks out, America’s post-9/11 wartime State of Emergency will end, secrecy restrictions will be lifted, 9/11 will be investigated and prosecuted, Israel will be exposed, and Zionism and US imperialism will go the way of apartheid South Africa and the Soviet Union.
That explains why the neocon Zionists are pushing for a wider war in the Middle East by madly tormenting the Palestinians, supporting sectarian terrorist groups like ISIS, and pushing for a US attack on Iran. It is also the reason the Zionist neocons are pushing so hard for a war with Russia. If a nuclear World War III breaks out, Israel’s role in 9/11 will be at least temporarily forgotten.

WOW! Thank you Biggy. I had given up on trying sifting through the quadrillion false flags that surround all of this fiasco.
The thing that leapt out for me in the Australian part of this diabolical attack on Democracy is Frank Lowy’s involvement. I always saw his actions screaming Zionista, but heavily obscured. One of the reasons I avoid Westfield Shopping Centres, even when it is my local one, not far from where I live.
Unfortunately, this started to lose me at the mention of the source of so many false flags when it mentioned Fox News. Also CNN, The Christian Science Monitor, New York Times has me wondering how and why would a truth seeking expedition feed it’s enemy the information it has. Is it in order to expose where they are so that the supposed enemy knows where they need to mop up loose ends?
Interesting but still I see it all pointing back to Banks. The money trail, the primary tool in their ‘everything’ they are doing to achieve that which they seek most of all, total, complete authoritarian power, Will always be the exposé, but it is something they control the records of so good luck in utilising that because that is how they keep tabs on everyone else.
Why are Tax Departments around the world beefing up investigations, but avoid looking at those who avoid paying tax the most, but assist in their games in dismantling Democracies and replacing them with pseudo shams of it, that are totally submissive to their whims and demands. We should know as our Government is one of those, for why else would they be doing things so detrimental to the citizens of our Nation. They are watching our cash flows for anything that will threaten their game plan.
This means anything that will be a threat to them has to be utterly and totally social; hence we have Facebook to watch that avenue of information now as I see it.
Diabolical at best and utterly insane as the need to own and control everything. But why else would you risk destroying your own species, world’s biosphere in a game that is so all or nothing, unless you had no empathy or emotional attachment at all. Psychosis in action!
I may be wrong, and with so many false flags it is impossible to know anything for sure and anything in plain view for the masses to consume, is sure to be a false path.

Choice Bro….I Sent the meta data stuff to our computer techo son in NZ. He had not heard anything at all over there regarding this data collection threat or the loud cry against it in Aussie. This is the type of stuff they …( our govt), don’t want to spread around. I believe he thinks the Brandis interview is way up there with Monty Python…
Apparently this has been happening in NZ for several years. There are ‘TRIGGER words’ which alert the ‘collectors’ of our info, and they decide if we are worth stringing up or not. So I guess those white vans will be along soon to collect myself and HO, as we certainly don’t pull punches when we enlighten our Kiwi family about the fools we have in control over here!

Not for 40yrs+ Mel, I remember it as a huge State Housing area. I also have memories of Porirua, (where we lived for 2yrs when HO was on transfer). Those days the Ford factory was in full swing and the place was booming. All associated Labor issues united the community. Guess I am not separating the areas in my brain enough… Wainuiomata is certainly a better situation for up market housing development. Although I believe there are some really classy suburbs in Porirua now also… Sign of the times ( and me getting older) I guess.
Last time I was in NZ, .. Just after HE won the election, I watched an interview with Margies mum & Dad, they seem nice ‘ down to earth ‘ folk, proud of her of course and did say that she had brought the girls up by herself as HE was away with politics so often over the years. May just be me, but I detected a feeling that she didnt get the support they thought she should have due to HIS political asperations. If I remember correctly Tones and Margie met at an accounting or Legal conference, as she worked in one of those fields.

My home town is the pits… was last there about 5yrs ago, it was really depressing, nearly all the lovely tree covered hills are denuded, the town centre is ugly with lots of empty shops and sad looking plants in graffitied pots, I sat in a few places (the various malls etc) and just watched people going by, not one of them was smiling 😦

My home town is also bleak and miserable… No way could I live back there. It’s always nice to return to the warmth of OZ. The pull of family and friends back there was strong enough to make us think of returning … but this is where we will stay.

The 60’s? As related on IA, our top judge stole over 100 million dollars of public funds by deceit while soldiers lived in gutters and our hospitals strained, and couples fought over marriages and survivability. And that was just one of the bastards.
It is a well known fact that our public service has been rotten to the core and a great place get life security and power for free. They tumble the honest, sane and humane like a bullbar through wallabies on the road. Most of the corruption instigated by a parasite top heights, the rest by the ilk in thousands that follow their lead.

At Paul and Annie Ryders anniversary I met Elizabeth May Leader of the Greens here and she put me in touch with a second chief of one of the indigenous communities that are totally dependent on sustainable subsistence living of the Inupiaq Traditions in Alaska, Ilul Hailstone
She flew with us to meet them, and I was given the incredible opportunity of living within the community for a month.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see first hand the effects of climate change here.
It was so good a chance,
We will also be spending a week with the indigenous community in Nunavat in Canada.
I am absolutely blown away by the disaster climate change is having and have agreed to do a bit of free work for the Greens while I’m at it.

They have had one of the coldest winters in recorded history and therein lies the problem.

They have massive build ups of ice , hard for winter ice fishing etc
Because of the shorter extreme cold, when the thaw starts the rivers can’t take the build up of huge ice flows so floods the surrounding lands for miles not just with water but massive ice , which just clear fells the trees, communities, fish wheels, fish camps etc
This is driving moose caribou etc hundreds of miles from their normal areas, the salmon breeding is knackered, bears wolves wolverine are coming into communities etc so their livelihoods from meat, skins, fish is fucked.
There have been quite a few deaths in the floods and on the rivers etc .
I’ve seen photo`s from last winter where the river clogged and 5 mile inland the water was tree high with frigging great slabs of ice 200-300 foot long just clear felling un bloody believable
Still, I won’t bog you down in it, but hey climate change is real mate and critical.

An Australian MP has asked the International Criminal Court to investigate prime minister Tony Abbott for crimes against humanity over his detention of asylum seekers on remote Pacific islands.

He has written to the court to request that prosecutors investigate whether Mr Abbott and the members of the federal cabinet have breached the Rome Statute, which deals with crimes against the humanity, or international conventions which deal with the rights of children and refugees.
“It is not illegal to come to Australia and claim asylum, and we have a fundamental obligation to hear those claims and to give those people refuge if those claims are accurate,” Mr Wilkie said.
Mr Abbott was elected last year after pledging to “stop the boats” and to stem the flow of asylum seekers who arrive in Australia by boat. Many come from Sri Lanka and Afghanistan and arrive in Australia via transit camps in Indonesia.
Mr Abbott’s tough stance has involved intercepting the rickety boats and deporting those aboard to detention centres on the remote Pacific nation of Nauru and an island off the coast of Papua New Guinea.
Human rights groups and the United Nations have denounced the policy and say conditions in the detention centres are inhumane.

Is the Abbott Government ‘Relocation Assistance to Take Up a Job’ program shaping up to be a dud?
The Abbott Government Relocation Assistance to Take Up a Job program commenced on 1 July 2014.
Eligible participants who have been unemployed for at least twelve months can receive financial assistance of up to $3,000 if relocating to a capital city, $6,000 if relocating to a regional area and an extra $3,000 if relocating with dependent children.
By 22 October 2014 only 145 people out of the estimated 745,500 unemployed persons across Australia (ABS 6202.0 Labour Force statistics September 2014) used this program to move from where they were living to take up a job elsewhere.
The Guardian reported that: In each state the majority of those relocating stayed within state borders. The largest number of relocations occurred within Queensland, where 26 of the 43 movers stayed in the state. Data showed that 30 people accessed the program from NSW, 27 from Victoria, 19 from South Australia, nine from Tasmania and six from WA. So far, no one has left the Northern Territory, but 15 people moved there from around Australia.
These 145 jobs are allegedly in accommodation and food services, manufacturing, and agriculture, forestry and fishing.
According to Federal Assistant Minister for Employment and Nationals MP for Cowper Luke Hartsuyker of these 97 men and 48 women, 42 were under 30 years of age and another 42 were between 30-40 years old.
With the national unemployment rate trending at 6% and only 0.019450033534540577% of the registered unemployed participating in this program to date, it is not shaping up to be a resounding success.
The former Federal Labor Government’s relocation incentives which commenced in early 2011 also did not have a high take up rate.
One has to suspect that the level of financial assistance on offer does not come close to meeting real life relocation costs for the majority of long-term unemployed Australians in 2014.

Dear Prime Minister,
We are writing to strongly reject your statements made on Monday 13 October regarding coal mining.
There is no justification for the pronouncement that “coal is good for humanity”. It is in direct contradiction to all the available public health evidence.
There is ample evidence, which we have supplied to your office, documenting the adverse health impacts that arise from air pollution (and other environmental impacts) in both coal mining communities and resulting from coal combustion more widely. In the USA, it is estimated that 23,000 people lose their lives prematurely every year as a result of coal combustion alone. This is of course exactly why the USA and Chinese governments are moving to restrict coal burning near their major cities.
The economic costs arising from coal fired power stations have been assessed by US economist William Nordhaus (2011) and found to outweigh the value provided by as much as 5.6 times. All recently published work in this area is consistent on this point. The only reason coal can be made to appear economically viable is by the deliberate exclusion of these health and environmental costs.
The argument that providing coal based energy is essential for improving poverty in the developing world is also not supported by the available evidence. In fact, the health impacts from coal outweigh health gains in all but the very poorest of nations. Even then, the benefit is marginal. Moreover, energy poverty can be, and is being, addressed using non-fossil fuel energy sources that do not have the same detrimental health or environmental costs.
Use of fossil fuels, including coal, has been incontrovertibly linked to climate change. Climate change is now recognised as the greatest threat to our health this coming century (Lancet 2009). It is also the case that the poorest nations will be disproportionally impacted by the effects of climate change and the least able to adapt. If we are genuine about acting in the interests of humanity, then our focus must be to assist these developing countries with renewable energy technology and rapidly decarbonise our economy, which incidentally is the highest per capita emitter in the developed world.
In light of these facts, it was very disturbing to health professionals to hear the statements made by you regarding coal on Monday. It is unacceptable to trade Australia’s public health for short term economic benefit. Yet this is exactly what your government is promoting.
For these reasons, we seek an urgent response and explanation from your office and ask that your statement be retracted.

Many a person in need of accurate information fast knows full well not to waste their time waiting on the increasingly incompetent MSM to supply their ill conceived version of events — they’ll sooner find it on the non corporately owned independent media — proven to pack a punch well above its weight — and then some.
The MSM resorts to ”the argument of authority” — even though they’ll often use suggestive words such as, might and maybe, could or would, so and so say’s this or that without providing the actual proof where the information supplied can be independently verified* — they are leading it’s band of followers to believe that whenever an authority figure states something, it is automatically assumed to be true – no further evidence is required and ultimately this is exactly what makes them a propaganda relay.
* Those nonexisting WMD in Iraq made an excellent example where the MSM was used as a propaganda outlet for the warmongering neocons, the consequences of those lies have killed many and are still harming civil rights around the world.
The MSM are outmoded like a cassette player — well known for not reproducing the finer details while adding a lot of background noises — In essence, the MSM provides nothing more than news for dummies — presented by dummies reading from a teleprompter.
The corporately owned MSM has developed a reputation that it’s a completely and utterly untrustworthy choice for providing accurate up to date information regarding current international affairs — Their description of events are unsupported by solid and independently verifiable evidence and should only to be regarded as opinions written to endorse the neocon warmongers.

The real face of poverty in this country is not the absence of a plasma television
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics data:
In 2011-12 there were 272,400 Australian households with incomes below $300 per week. These households contained over one million people;
There were 105,237 people who were classified as being homeless on census night in 2011(up from 89,728 in 2006);
The number of homeless people in improvised dwellings, tents or sleeping out on census night was 6,813; and
In 2011 60% of homeless people were aged under 35 years, and 22% of the increase in homelessness was in the 25 to 34 years age group (up 22% to 19,311 homeless people in 2011).
In 2012 the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS) revealed 2.2 million Australians were living below the poverty line.
Nearly 2 million people rely on some form of food aid each year and approximately half of them are children.
The underemployment rate in Australian in 2013 was 7.5 per cent.
Even with factors that affect labour force outcomes being the same, Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people are still twice as likely as non-Indigenous people to be unemployed.
Australia’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.1 per cent in September 2014.
Since January 2003 unemployment benefits have been below the Henderson Poverty Line, with a single adult of working age falling $196.02 short according to The Australia Institute:
In 2013-2014 1 in 8 Australians couldn’t afford to pay their electricity bills.
The Echo Netdaily reported on 1 October 2014 that one in three elderly Australians are living in poverty, despite being among the most highly educated senior citizens in the world.

As for Z losing the plot it might be a little late for that…3 people have confirmed his deceptive editing yet Z’s hypocrisy remains truly astounding — a drama queen of the highest order — You might have guessed that the topic was being changed when I mentioned the liker bot — one of the characteristics of the bot is the speed with which the votes appear. We never claimed that Z used one, just certain similarities have been noted after he comments — Like was mentioned and removed, some people like to think they’re more equal than others, and even appear to enjoy some sort of immunity that allows them to commit one logical fallacy after another.
Donkey’s [insert sound ]political motivation is rather contrasting, last year they were against fracking, this week they’re promoting gas exploration, (perhaps they’re getting paid to post the article ?)
Ultimately it’s up to each site to post what they want, even if they change their mind.

On Sunrise this morning David Koch asked the finance minister about the fuel tax. Increase according to Abbott 40c per week. According to motoring bodies closer to $3 per week. Apparently it is not a tax to us motorists, it is only a tax to the fuel suppliers. So if after it has been charged and found to have not gone through parliament any refunds would only go to the fuel supplier. To bad about all the motorists.. what I would like to know is the Carbon Tax that was not a Tax, was only paid by large polluters with a dribble down effect, same as the fuel increase.. I guess different rules apply to LNP.

A CArbon Tax hit approximately 500 businesses which were comprised of Australia’s heaviest polluters
Ordinary people were compensated.
Firstly, the tax-free threshold was more than tripled from $6,000 to $18,200, exempting 1 million people from the need to pay income tax or file a tax return. People earning less than $80,000 per year received a tax cut, which for most will equal approximately $300 per year. Secondly, generous assistance was also provided to households through welfare payments. Pensioners and self-funded retirees, as well as family payment recipients and other allowance recipients had their payments increase.
As you point out the fuel tax has not been through Parliament.
This will either be a benefit to the Government {excise} or a bonanza for the fuel companies, at a cost to motorists {no compensation like the Carbon price }
Keep your Fuel reciepts.
If this fails Parliament, Fuel companies will gain a windfall couple of billion and it has been mooted that if that is the case, there could be a class action through the ACCC
The main difference being one {the Carbon Tax} hit big polluters and compensated households
The fuel excise hits all Australians to the benefit of Government or Fuel companies

Dear Prime Minister,
The National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples has noted that the Western Australian and South Australian governments have threatened to shut down services to small and remote townships of the Aboriginal Peoples. We bring this matter to your government for urgent attention to Australian policy regarding the rights of First Peoples.
The First Peoples of Australia had, and will always have, inherent rights to exist on and develop our lands and territories. These rights derive from the continuing and ancient title to these lands and territories, and according to our collective rights to self-determination as Peoples.
By circumstances of Australia’s colonial and post-colonial history, and particularly in the absence of a consent agreement for acquisition and distribution of the wealth from our lands, territories and resources, our Peoples hold as a very minimum the right to enjoy equal outcomes from social and economic advancements benefiting all Australians. This must be clearly understood and respected by all governments in Australia.
The WA government apparently intends to target Aboriginal Peoples on the one hand, whilst continuing to provide high standards of municipal services to non-Indigenous citizens on the other. We cannot accept the WA and SA governments have legitimate authority under Australian or international law to racially discriminate to disrupt or destroy the livelihoods, accommodations or habitat of the First Peoples of Australia.
Congress must also take into account that other States may be contemplating reduction or withdrawal of services to our Peoples in the same way as Western Australia and South Australia.
Constitutionally, the Australian Government has the highest authority in the nation in order to promote and protect the rights of the First Peoples of Australia.
It is part of the international responsibilities and it is a responsibility that should not and cannot be discarded or devolved to other levels of government.
Congress brings to your attention that your government essentially reaffirmed its obligations to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples a few months ago at the United Nations General Assembly, during the high-level plenary session known as the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples.
The national government holds ultimate responsibility to promote and respect equality and non-discrimination in the nation and, in that context, also to ensure our Peoples are correctly acknowledged as rights holders as Indigenous Peoples.
These standards to which we refer are enshrined in the human rights treaties that Australia has signed and ratified, along with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Congress requests your government immediately affirm to the states and territories that rights of the First Peoples are paramount in any fiscal arrangements to address social and economic development.
We consider it appropriate that this matter also be discussed at the next Council of Australian Governments (COAG) meeting.
Congress also requests an urgent meeting with you to further discuss this important matter.

The Abbott government’s explanation — for closing these remote communities — claims that it’s costing too much.
Governments decision to purchase an executive jet with a 250 million price tag immediately exposes it’s hypocrisy.
500 million for two additional Boeing C-17 Globemaster transport jets for the airforce.
3 Billion of a spy drone fleet.
The sums of this aviation extravaganza is many times more than the sum with held to keep these much needed remote communities functioning.
Cue bono – It’s far more likely that the logic behind the forced closure of remote communities and removal of the people living there is related to creating economic opportunity for the mining giants.
The forced removal of indigenous people is happening all over the planet – Tell Obama – Stop State Kidnapping Of Lakota Children The Sioux have their children removed, with the immediate effect that they are prevented from learning the old ways – ultimately the Sioux are also sitting on mineral rich lands that needs to be vacated in order to weaken resistance to mineral exploration including oil and fracking.
Africa can provide more examples still — summed up it’s corporate influence manipulation over government matters, ultimately the BIG banks.

Proof positive that any claim that Green results in the 2013 Federal election had anything to do with Moran standing as an independent in that council election would be an obvious fabrication. As I said last time I saw that post. 9 months ago.
Oh, and on Peter Moran’s results in the State seat of Shellharbour in 2011: 15.3% – up 7.7% on the Green vote in 2007. In other words, doubling the Green state vote there. Might’ve had something to do with him winning that council seat the same year. CL avoids mentioning this. Certainly contradicts his “poor to terrible” narrative.

The upvotes by itself are circumstantial, It’s when upvotes are frequently made by what’s considered ”dormant” accounts that they become suspicious.
It’s when these dormant accounts frequently and immediately appear to upvote the most trivial of comments that mere coincidence should be ruled out.
Consider, several people all sitting around monitoring their dash which would require frequent updating to stay informed of Z latest comment so they can give it an up vote. No not bloody likely and thus I’m thinking proxies.
Imagine, staying ”signed in” to a comment account while not making any comments defies logic.
For a registered account to vote up or down one must be signed in to that account, not signed in will return an upvote as guest.
The other notable event is that Z appears to be under protection immunity even, comments that contradict Z swiftly disappear while the same cannot be said in return.
think about who is able to offer that form of protection and what are they’re all about, conclusion is that they’re a political site following a particular angle, there might be consequences for those not fitting in.

Was a whistle about to blow regarding Australian Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce misleading Parliament?

The secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Dr Paul Grimes, has gone on unexpected leave after requesting an extraordinary Senate committee hearing in order to provide “highly pertinent” information about a long-running saga over changes to the official Hansard record of answers given by his minister, Barnaby Joyce.
At the heart of the controversy is Joyce’s insistence to the parliament that corrections to the Hansard record of an incorrect answer he gave regarding drought support loans on 20 October had been made by his staff, without his knowledge, and that he had asked for the changes to be reversed when he became aware that they had been made.
The opposition agriculture spokesman, Joel Fitzgibbon, has been questioning whether Joyce did know about, or request, the changes – an allegation which, if proven, would mean Joyce had committed the sackable offence of misleading the House of Representatives.

This same head was quoted to have said that under the previous 2 governments FOI was freely given when requested and that he was soft on it,whereas now his position was hard about FOI {WTF}

She has stated that Dr Grimes was sacked because he refused to take part in the Abbott Gov cover up of this changing of hansard affair ! “If moderate indigenous voices make their concerns known, many of the well-disposed Australians will say, ‘If the Aboriginal people don’t see much advantage or opportunity or progress in the recognition, why should we bother to take that step?’
“This is a serious matter. If you are going to recognise Aboriginal people, what is the substance of it? The substance we are seeing at the moment is this: ‘We’re going to close down communities, force you into assimilation kind of activities, deny your right to have sites protected, and reject your cultural base to exist.
“It’s an appalling concept to be saying we want to recognise your culture and your ancient history and your continuing existence when, in fact, that continuing existence is one that, in reality, you are trying to wipe out.”
Mr Dodson, 67, was the founding chairman of the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation and became known as the “father of reconciliation”. He was also a commissioner for the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody.
After some four decades of advocacy for his people, Mr Dodson confessed he had never felt so disheartened at the direction of policy.
“I’ve normally been a fairly optimistic sort of individual in relation to Aboriginal affairs because there was always an avenue for dialogue with whoever was running the country, whether it was the Liberals or the Labor Party.
“Now you can’t even have the debate.”
He called on Mr Abbott to re-engage with indigenous leaders, saying the convening of a meeting was the crucial first step.
“We’ve got to get away from just thinking about program and policy and start thinking in terms of a relationship.
“Does Australia want to have a relationship with Aboriginal people, or does it not? Or does it simply want to improve the management and control systems over the lives of Aboriginal people? That’s the seminal issue.
“Everything to date has been about management. How do we keep them in the reserves, isolated from the public? Then, how do we force them into some form of assimilation? And now? No one knows where it is going now.
“It’s a full-on assault on those areas where languages and cultures at least have been sustained. That’s a recipe for disaster because there is no evidence that people in the cities and the towns have fared any better.”
Mr Dodson expressed doubts as to whether Mr Abbott was up to the task, saying the Prime Minister’s remarks about those living on remote communities exercising a “lifestyle choice” highlighted his lack of understanding.
“I don’t think he’s capable of it, despite his good wishes or his best intentions. He just doesn’t have knowledge and without knowledge he’s not going to be able to do much to take the country forward around indigenous relationships and non-indigenous relationships. That’s the sad part about it.”

The Australian prime minister has suffered near universal criticism from Aboriginal leaders over his “lifestyle choice” comments last week when he was defending the closure of Indigenous communities in Western Australia.
He has refused to apologise for the remarks and stood by them when asked if he would at least concede it was a poor choice of words.
“I’m not going to concede that. I accept people have a right to be critical of me, but I’m certainly not going to concede that,” he told Sky News on Saturday.

And then he blocked me…..
On 16 March 2015 North Coast Voices posted The flood next time…. which looked at the issue of flood levees in the Clarence Valley that had sections that were in poor or very poor condition.
The post carried photographs of the Wilton Park, Waterview levee such as this:
This is the exchange on the subject which ended with Clarence Valley Council Mayor Richie Williamson blocking North Coast Voices’ tweets:
So I had a big grin on my face yesterday as I listened to this very same mayor (relying on the same facts as the North Coast Voices post) supporting a notice of motion that sought a report to councillors on the condition of its flood levees and, heard him admit the public safety issue and commit council to repair the damaged Waterview levee ahead of any NSW Government monetary compensation for this repair.
The grin grew even broader as I heard him address some of his remarks directly to local mainstream media.

Apparently breakfast announcer with Radio 2GF Grafton, NSW Nationals party member (and campaign manager for Nats MP for Clarence Chris Gulaptis), Clarence Valley Mayor Richie Williamson, who characterizes his Twitter account thus;
has taken exception to North Coast Voices yet again;
Apparently official contributors to North Coast Voices (all of whom are Clarence Valley electors) are something to defecate on for this particular mayor.
For a local government councillor, who has been in office for ten years, it seems that à la Animal Farm some electors are definitely more equal than others.
An impressive own goal for a mayor hoping to be re-elected in around 541 days.

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott just demolished one of his latest reasons for proposing deregulation of university fees
This was Prime Minister Tony Abbott being quoted in The Australian on 14 March 2015 concerning his desire to deregulate university fees:
Mr Abbott said just one Australian university was now ranked in the world’s top 50.
“Why not try to get two in the top 20. Unless we take the dead hand of Canberra away that is going to be extremely difficult,” he said.
It seems Mr. Abbott has either not bothered to research the issue and relied on a single recent newspaper report or he is just making things up again because he knows News Corp media is not going to challenge the nonsense he spouts.
The 2014-15 Times Higher Education world university rankings survey (covering 400 universities) lists five Australian universities in the top 100 and two, I repeat two, in the top 50 universities.

APPETITE FOR CHANGE GLOBAL WARMING IMPACTS ON FOOD AND FARMING REGIONS IN AUSTRALIA (Melbourne University, Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute, March 2015):
With 93% of the food we eat grown here in Australia, the future of Australian farming matters to all of us. Australia is lucky to have a strong agricultural sector that plays a pivotal role in contributing to the Australian economy and defining Australian culture.
In 2012-13 the gross value of total Australian agricultural production was $48 billion. But Australian agriculture is at a turning point. We are halfway through what scientists refer to as the ‘critical decade’ to act on climate change. And with less than a 1-degree global average rise in temperatures, climate change is already impacting a suite of Australian-grown commodities and will continue to impact farmers if stronger global efforts to reduce carbon pollution are not forthcoming.
Australian agriculture is heavily reliant on predictable rainfall and temperature to maintain production of high quality food. Australian farmers have always faced a highly variable climate, but now climate change adds significant additional complexity to their management.
According to the CSIRO, production from cropping and livestock is projected to decline by 2030 over much of southern Australia due to increased drought and the fact that the availability of nutrients will limit productivity in most Australian landscapes. Heat and drought are likely to reduce the quality of grain, grape, vegetable, fruit, and other crops. A 20% reduction in rainfall could reduce pasture productivity by 15%, and livestock weight gain by 12%, which would substantially reduce farm income.
There is likely to be a southward movement of pests and diseases as the southern regions warm. Food production in Australia will need to adapt to the inevitable impacts of climate change. But there are limits to the temperatures and extreme weather events that farmers will be able to adapt to. Some industries are already relocating to new regions now more suited to their production systems, causing disruption to rural communities. …..

Key findings of the report reveal that:
* Dairy foods are likely to be affected by warmer temperatures and more heat waves, as heat stress on dairy cows typically reduces milk yield by 10-25 per cent, and by up to 40 per cent in extreme heat wave conditions.
* A warmer and drier climate will pose significant challenges to beef production systems in southern Australia. Southern pasture growing seasons are expected to contract, while increased heat stress may lead farmers to choose more heat tolerant cattle breeds possibly of lower meat-eating
quality.
* Warmer temperatures adversely affect the flavour of carrots, as well as their texture and physical structure. Higher temperatures associated with climate change are likely to make carrot production less viable in warmer areas with shifts to cooler regions such as Tasmania.
* Extremely hot weather can reduce the quality of bee honey and has other flow-on effects such as reduced pollination for fruit trees.
* Higher temperatures and humidity can cause “late blight” in potatoes, which rots the tubers and makes them inedible.
* Chickens are sensitive to heat stress, which will affect the quality of their meat. Increased droughts around the world are also leading to more volatility in the price of grain used to feed chicken.
* Temperatures above 27°C will potentially cause bolting (prematurely running to seed) and poor colouring in beetroots.
* Climate change is likely to reduce reliable rainfall and place pressure on water availability in Australia’s current major rice-growing regions.
* Rainfall and temperature changes will affect wheat growth, with lower and more variable production forecasted. The zinc and iron concentrations of Australian wheat are projected to be 5-10 per cent lower by the middle of the century, adding to pressures associated with malnutrition.
* Climate change is acidifying our coastal waters making it harder for shellfish to build their shells.
* Fruit trees and nuts in southern Australia will not get cold enough in winter to signal fruit development.

In which Australian Education Minister Christopher Pyne’s nose grows longer and longer…..

This was the Australian Education Minister Christopher Pyne being interviewed by The Insiders program on 15 March 2015:
Labor of course are the only reason why the crossbenchers are where the action is because Labor’s taken themselves out of the conversation by being political opportunists, except of course we now see that they represent an existential threat to universities because of Kim Carr’s policy of putting caps back on, paying on outcomes and shutting out low socioeconomic status students from university.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics Education and Work, Australia, May 2014 clearly states that:
Of those engaged in formal study, approximately 1.2 million (40%) were attending a higher education institution….
More than one third (39%) of people aged 15–64 years who were enrolled in a non-school qualification were studying for a Bachelor Degree….
Leaving aside the fact that is was past Labor federal governments which introduced first free university education then later low, no-interest loans to meet the shortfall between government funding of university places and course costs and, even adjusting this attendance figure for overseas students studying in this country, that still leaves an est. 1 million domestic university students of which an est 17.5% are from low socio-economic backgrounds.
In fact, the reason that the percentage stands nationally at an est. 17.5 is because the former Gillard Labor Government uncapped Commonwealth supported student places at Australian universities under the demand-driven system in 2012 and, this led to an immediate 0.5% enrolment increase within twelve months of low socio-economic students [Socio-economic Status of Schools and University Academic Performance: Implications for Australia’s Higher Education Expansion, December 2014]
Some universities can now boast 20% or more students from low-income family backgrounds.
When comparing the percentage of such students in the final years of the Gillard Government with percentages during the Howard Coalition Government, it is clear that numbers being admitted to university from this group were lower during the Howard years – in the first three years the percentage never rose above 14.7% [Socioeconomic Background and Higher Education Participation, 2002] and didn’t reach 16% until the early 2000s.
Mr. Pyne appears to have offered up his strange claims to voters before this.
As Labor’s higher education policy, the Shadow Minister for Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Industry Kim Carr pointed out at a Universities Australia conference on 12 March 2015.
The Minister and some supporters of deregulation have chosen to wilfully misinterpret my past remarks as a signal that Labor intends to impose an enrolment freeze.
Let me categorically reject that claim.
Mr Pyne’s so-called analysis of these claims is based on a lie.
Under Labor, the number of student places will continue to grow. Under Labor, universities will be properly funded.

One in ten NSW voters who switched to Coalition last election now in doubt?

The latest Fairfax/Ipsos NSW poll revealed close to one in 10 voters who supported the Coalition at the 2011 state election intend to change their vote on March 28 due to the performance of the Abbott government.

That leads me to the leaners, of all political persuasions, who got free degrees and who believe that tertiary education needs to cost more to help the deficit.
To stop sounding hypocritical, they could all write a cheque to the treasury for the current cost of the degree/degrees they got at taxpayers’ expense.
That should go a long way towards fixing the budget.

UBS, a key adviser on the Baird government’s partial privatisation of the electricity network, is facing scrutiny from the corporate regulator over changes to a research report about the sale published by the investment bank.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has requested information about the operation of the bank’s “Chinese Wall” – designed to separate its advisory and research arms – ASIC chairman Greg Medcraft confirmed on Monday.
The 14-page report, originally titled “Bad for the budget, good for the state”, was later reissued with the new title “Good for the state”. The earlier version said the long-term lease of the state’s “poles and wires” to finance transport infrastructure would “likely have a negative impact on state finances in the long run” as the government increased spending on infrastructure and lost revenue from the electricity assets.
