    Bighead,
you said you felt like going on IA and giving them a bit so why don’t you.
There are only one or two fighting Greens there.
Whats the worst that can happen ?
you get kicked off . I am banned so I just go to sites where Green Lantern, Mark Jackson and co. are and let them know, I know of their sneakiness in voting and frauding.
    they don’t like it
All from a very narrow band of SE QLD ,actually, it seems the same street/residence
I will publish it soon and added it to bbs/4chan info page

I`ve forwarded an email from Fran into Cornies inbox as concerns grow about him.
I`m sure she fought with some of these Greens as well and it would be nice if you can out them here for us because both Cornie and SF have been onto them for a while

I can’t blame Biggy for not bothering. A recent email has me also cooling somewhat off the site.
Whilst most people in the discussions are OK, some are dogmatic in their efforts to control the discourse possible and demand to set the agenda of the discourse by attacking anyone who differs from their opinion.
Some are protected species, from what I am seeing. Such a shame, considering the Site had such promise. Growing pains? We’ll see. I’ll continue to watch, but not commenting much any more.

Hey mate and cheerrz as i`ve wanted to draw some attention onto AIMN in the great Green Slime Out.
I`m actually out of gigs until Monday as i used up my Sat BB quota making meme`s and posting on Twitter over the Oz Day W/E.
I will get back there eventually, but not yet as I have other fish to fry and getting messages across on Twitter is more important as the reach is big compared to IA or AIMN or even the Guardian.
#qldpol and #auspol reach all on social media who Tweet and even many who don`t because it spreads onto the MSM,what`s trending does.
      I;E; #illridewithyou #abbottlies #damesandknights etc
Let them wallow in there DJ`s and Jaycee madness for a while longer because Sunday will tell me more first up YouFO just to see where QLD did vote.
NSW after that and the attack on the Greens is going to grow [what happened to your joining me on Twitter?]

In the middle of dinner tonight, the phone rang, and it was an automated poll 😯

    I was annoyed, but thought it would be worth donating a few minutes, to tell them what I think 😀 and the first question was;

“Who do you think will win the election?” for the LNP press 1, for the ALP press 2

My first thought was that’s a loaded question, as most think that the LNP will win, but I pressed 2 and moved on.

    The second question was;
“Who do you think would make the better Premier? Ok, I was all ready to hit the number for Anastasia, but then the list was read out 1-7 and no Anastasia… WTF? 😯

So I didn’t press any numbers and angrily waited… It reset, and ran through the 7 again, which was a list of LNP contenders,,, again WTF? so I hit 8, which really confused it, and then it reset again… At which point, I swore loudly and hung up. 😡

Talk about fudging the numbers? bloody leading questions. Bastards, Propaganda merchants… LIARS!

I`ve given much thought to commenting on news articles and found it`s mainly only a pressure relief valve for the self.
Base arguments mostly go nowhere amongst belligerents and rarely lead to a defining point which proves when one argues with idiots then one comes down to their level.
Putting forward an opinion is just that and as we all know there`s little investigative journalism going on.so even the majority of news outlets are opinion pieces.
We have our 24/7 Media opinionistas to thank for this.
It seems that what is really called for is massive looking at as many news pieces as possible so as a picture of the “real event” is evident.
Actually I never thought I`d be writing this because I love the stoush and biffo but I suppose it`s a maturity of medium, like power in the punch or how much bang for your buck.
In my way I suppose I have always had an unrequited love with satirical cartoons though not being able to draw them.
I feel meme`s have filled that gap I never really new existed until a year ago
Anyway just some early morning thoughts of a man at his keyboard of wonder

I too have always loved a good argument, but have realised lately, that I’ve got better things to do with my time, and better ways of getting “Bang for my buck!” 😯

Now getting back to cartoon lampooners and satirists I find David Rowe to be in a field of his own and he can have a myriad of things going on at once, well actually he does this all the time and I found that I have the same feelings in meme creation as David has in his creations.one needs to see quickly the point and then uncover the layering is the wonderment because this never shows at first and it`s like “how the bloody hell did he come up with all that in one piece?”
I know that next week when I join the real world with hundreds of gigabytes on ADSL instead of Sat BB I can begin my new found fetish.
Even the base meme`s I do take lots of megabits and layered ones take plenty as some take 20 or so layers so small points can be entered like a drawing.

      Anyway back to the break in- 3 Aboriginals breaks both the Lounge door and the BottleO door and enter from 2 directions {CCTV}
The 2 of them look up at one CCTV [there`s 6 just in this area] and give a beautiful pic of themselves.
1 local and 2 from Warburton.
They take 12 bottles of Jack Daniels Spitits {700 ml bots] and clean all the cigs out.
So town rages with 30-40 sharing the bounty and smoking up a storm.
Morning-headaches and ❤ darling drives to the superM and see 2 Policemen accost one offender at the carpark next to the pub, roughly manhandled and put into the black mariah.
An hour later another offender comes into the deli connected to the hotel establishment where staff have his 250×150 in front of them so they call [come and get this idiot]
Number 3 was a little trickier as he kept and drank 2 bottles and had multiple packs of cigs in his pockets and the police had to wake him to arrest him.

Wet Season is not over yet, so here is hoping we’ll get enough more tto drop it and we can move over to mineral instead of salt. :{)
My dehydrator is a simple tray, with a bed of rock salt, which I have a screen to seal it off from insects and it goes out onto the hot pavers in the back yard to bask in the hideously hot sun. Fusion powered dehydration. Very high tech. *grin*
Trouble is, this year the toms didn’t do well for some reason. Zuchinni’s are growing well then will half rot. So you have to pick and throw half away. The other big issue is Possums. No idea what to do about those. tried a few things that seemed to work to deter them, but then they return. :{(
Take care of those hands. Try soaking them in a warm Epsom salt bath when you want, followed by a moisturiser of your choice. Can’t hurt. I do it on my feet if I have a big day on them, and it helps relax them.

I’ll keep you posted on all of this, as most Solar Arrays already installed, can be modified by adding a Controller to allow control of your outputs and where they go and utilised. They even allow you to disconnect from the Grid, if the Retailers decide to screw you over and if you have it set up correctly. We’ll Grid connect, then monitor the performances and decide whether to remain connected.

Iraq war funding bill fiasco masks collusion between Bush and Democrats
Call it one of many US dirty secrets. Washington covertly recruits, funds, arms, trains, and directs extremist Islamic State and other Takfiri terrorists.

The same ones it lies about waging war on. Uses them as proxies against its adversaries.

Notably during Obama’s tenure against Libya’s Gaddafi. Currently against Assad in Syria. Ahead against future enemies to be named later.

Iran very much in Washington’s cross hairs. Longstanding US regime change plans remain firm.

RT International, Fars News and LiveLeak reported the same story.

        Morning biggie.

Hey thrillseekers, I was just reading todays Illawarra Mercury and there is a story on page three about some knob head, setting fire to Kathy Jacksons wheelie bin, (which happens on most Friday nights somewhere), but interestingly the tone of the article is leaning against her. Google it if you want.

But, the more interesting thing to me, is, in the pic on the net, she has put a bit of make up on and half brushed her hair, yet in the real pic in the actual paper, her head looks like a dropped pie and shes as scruffy as a robbers dog.

My question is how much charity did it take to get the photo changed?

I wondered where she was sitting out the repercussions of her malice. Her penance for her behaviour is disappointing, considering the region has some breath taking beauty, when she really deserves a padded room, perched inside a smoke stack of a coal fuelled power plant.

Other ads and election stuff hidden away a lot further through in the paper. Of course the editor of Independent is a leading light in the business round table. Mine was a little more funnier.
I ran into some friends as we parked cars. They all fell in a line behind me and we marched in with serious magnanimous looks on all our faces, with me rejecting all offers of “How to Vote” cards (I had to have “everyone” guessing). All my friends also were not taking anything from anyone, but pointing at me saying “We’re with him!”. Everyone was mystified.
It made quite an entrance and exit, with everyone looking on mystified. Even the Polling Volunteers were a little perplexed.
As I stepped out onto the footpath, a Green and Labor volunteer were standing right next to each other. They stopped, looked at me with my entourage, in tow, I winked at them and walked off. It was noticed by quite a few of the Blueys and they couldn’t work out which one I winked at.
We all got back to our cars and burst out laughing. It was just one of the spontaneous things people do, to play on the imaginations of others, harmlessly. But definitely it had the Blueys disconcerted. :{D

Didn’t read it, not one bit !

Crushed it in a crumpled ball

And walked into the hallowed hall

Pitched it in the nearest tin ..

Then stood in line to be signed in

I knew the rules – put Labor one

So that was very quickly done

My SIX for LNP that was fast …

Important to put those bastards last!

As for the rest it mattered naught

For their chances, they are fraught

Just a bunch of wannabes …

Random numbers they got from me

    Back outside the hall again

The sea of blue sure was a pain

They got my ‘two fingered’ sign

As I walked past their Tory line

I ‘high fived’ my red clad mob

Congrats to them a brilliant job

    Fifty-fifty is their assessment …

Email from Getup. I’ve pasted the address at the bottom. We need your urgent help.

Voting has just opened in Queensland, and Campbell Newman’s LNP’s lawyers have applied for a Supreme Court injunction to stop us handing out our how-to-vote cards.

Right now, hundreds of GetUp volunteers are handing out cards telling people to put the LNP last, but if we lose this Supreme Court action we’ll have to stop.

We need to fight it, and we have to do it fast. We can only do it if we know we have enough money to fight the injunction in an urgent court action, and fight any appeal that may arise.

Can you fund our urgent fight in the Supreme Court? https://www.getup.org.au/supremecourt

If the case doesn’t go ahead or we raise more than we need, we’ll offer you a full refund. If you don’t want a refund we’ll put that money straight into the Reef Legal Fighting Fund.

It’s still morning in Brisbane, and the majority of voters haven’t yet hit the polls. This is likely to be one of the closest finishes in Queensland history, and having our how-to-vote for the Reef cards could make all the difference.

This is exactly what it sounds like — a cynical ploy to silence us on election day. It’s a dirty, desperate attempt to cling on to power in an election set to go down to the wire.

Can you make an urgent donation so we can fight this bushleague play and keep handing out our How-to-vote cards?

Take all government business off the Big4 and run it through it`s own Bank
Challenge the banks on every front they can and have Superfunds drawn to this State Bank where management fees are not like the current ones.

WE are all part of a very large team. This ‘Born to Rule’ arrogant LNP mentality, really rubs most decent folk up the wrong way. We tried so hard EVERY DAY, to get Labor’s sensible message across…. “Only thing to do before you vote is to think of your own family, their jobs, education, health..and welfare if required”, tried to always back the message with FACTS and links. Most folk have kids, mortgages and elderly relatives, we will NEVER understand how they can vote LNP…and will NEVER stop trying to get through that thick blue fog!
Bit of a break now … Then we’re off again, it’s NSW next then …IF Toxic Tony is still hanging around, but regardless.. come the Fed election, we will begin the complete demolition of the IPA/Murdoch LNP Govt.
Truthy’s Lounge is full of very wise and learned folk, who have taught us so much politically, they have always been there to back us up..or when we fall on our face!
Thank you Truthy, For HEAPS of fun and good friends. 🙂

It just goes to show that sites like this, and the power of the individual can overcome the lies of the MSM , the shockjocks and the wealthy backers of the LNP.
    A Galaxy poll today
PRIME Minister Tony Abbott would lead the Liberal Party to a historic defeat that would deliver a primary vote of just 36 per cent and terminate the careers of more than 40 Coalition MPs if an election was held today.

In a poll that will send shock waves through the Coalition party room, support for the Abbott government has plunged to 57-43 on a two party preferred basis, according to a new Galaxy poll.

Labor has to begin here in Queensland and clean out the LNP filth from every aspect it legally can.
What authority it can put on the ABC`c QLD division it must demand the removal of LNP stooges, pronto.
The judiciary also must be cleaned out immediately of LNP appointments ALL.
Then the haven of LNP scum the public service requires that ALL LNP stooges be Liberated of their positions
Annastacia Palaszczuk ❤ has the enabling ability of her father Henry which will assist her in quickly getting her feet grounded.

It will be a very slow creep to escape the gaze of the Banksters. If Anastasia gets to rebuilding infrastructure and investing in that which helps the people, not Corporations, in work and employment, directly and indirectly, to build a Sovereign Wealth fund for tyhe State, which has absolutely no beholding to the Banksters, we’ll be far less at the mercy of the Market’s malice in the future.
If you look closely at all the actions of the previous Government of Newman, also the acts of all Conservatives Party actions, it has been to remove the Sovereign Wealth Funds to leave Democracy it at the mercy of Fiat Wealth Funds, so there can be no other choice to extract yourself, as you have no funds to resist, only violence, for which they have Military armaments to use to control that. This isn’t a criticism, just a fact (I have to say that).
It has been all about setting in poverty of the People’s Representation, to make Governments financially powerless. Starve it of being able to capitalise resistance to them. This isn’t a criticism, just a fact.
Money is everything to these people. They use it, worship it, breath it. So naturally it will be the ALL of everything they utilise and resource to fight everything. Till we reduce Wealth’s influences in our lives, we are utterly at it mercy.
In a Fiat system, the Banksters own it. In a Sovereign Monetary system, we do.

The preferences now fold into the Cake mix and that will slide stuff around.
This election is critical to my household. I still have to be careful what I say publicly, till who ever leads this State, gives me my freedom to be a private citizen back to me, which Newman rescinded brutally.

More the long, very slow slog.
It took centuries to wrest our Societies free of the Robber Barons. Now it will hopefully not take as long to regain the ground lost to them.
But we do need to remember they are not one of us and Slavery to their will is their goal, again.
But we can, if we remember our past history, work to making them work for us, to gain the the privileges they crave addictively again, or they can join the rest of the shunned in isolation, somewhere in the world, where they can fight their perpetual battles against each other for their place in the sun, without harming anyone outside of their region of influence.
It has all been done before.

On such a momentous day I would like to be a bit conciliatory, especially when we have the first wheel chair disabled, the first female indigenous ALP member and the first indigenous male also elected to the QLD Parliament, but given how our Indigenous people hold their land so sacred and part of their spirituality and being, I find it hard to overlook the dirty dealings in Tasmania by the Liberals and Greens
Federal Member for Braddon Brett Whiteley has labelled Tasmanian Aboriginal organisations “fringe groups” in response to their opposition to the reopening of four-wheel drive tracks in the state’s west.

The Tasmanian Aboriginal community is threatening to stage protests against the State Government’s decision to reopen the tracks through a section of of the Arthur-Pieman area.

The previous government closed 15 tracks in 2012 to protect threatened species and Aboriginal heritage sites, angering four-wheel drive enthusiasts.

    and on top of that
Australian Greens leader Christine Milne has attacked Tasmania’s main Aboriginal organisation for offering to drop a court case in return for land hand-backs.

Last week Tasmanian Premier Will Hodgman used an Australia Day event to announce he was open to the handing back of traditional lands.

In return, the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) said it would consider dropping a court case aimed at stopping the reopening of four-wheel-drive tracks in the Tarkine region on the state’s west coast.
Senator Milne said the Indigenous group’s response was a bad idea.
“I don’t think it’s appropriate that you have that kind of linking,” she said.

The owners of this garden have seen their property neglected and overrun
The put forward a tender for a new gardener and even the old one can apply
Upon winning this job as gardener the first thing to happen is that all the weeds are removed and the whole lot dug up and turned over
There may even need to be a heavy handed organic process gone after tilling by covering with plastic and cooking out the nemitodes and other hidden parasites

Lawn will be done at last daylight, when they are dry (we have a mulching mower) and then I can fall into the pool to cool off.
Everyone is welcome to jump in. It is a refreshing 29C at the moment, crystal clear and the tropical garden surrounding is lush and inviting. I love the spot where the palms lean over and provide the dappled shade that is so refreshing, but there is the big market umbrella with the big bench step/seat in the larger shallow end. Plant yourself and keep the heat at bay!
Lounge with your drinks to wet yourself further, but no glass please. We have plenty acrylic vessels to pour your choice of beverages into, to celebrate a win for the Commons. PARTY ON! *Splash*

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have much issue with the Greens. Biggy knows my view on them. They are just another Sibling in the mix of our Democratic Family.
They may differ in methodology and not always work in tandem with others, but I don’t see them toxifying the Social Well, as the Tories continually do. Hence my acceptance of them.
You might disagree, I welcome that, but I see it as a diversity that will make our Society stronger to cope with the challenges ahead, rather than a homogeneous State, weakened by monoculture.
We need differences in opinions, or we will be vulnerable to that we cannot understand because we do not know it when it assails us all.
We are in all stronger United (even if not completely), rather than divided, weak at the mercy of that, which we allow to say it is a person, but is not.
Embrace differences, no matter how annoying to you, for one day you might need a hand to make the work lighter when it is too hard to do alone.

Morning all. That was REALLY some night here in Queensland. In our electorate of Hervey Bay, our ALP candidate had a huge margin to claw back from the Tory Ted, who had gained a very safe margin of 21.7% at the last election. Every one of us who put their two bob’s worth into our local Labor campaign is feeling DELIGHTED after taking the LNP member’s majority down from 9,616 at the last election to 1,523 votes last night. We had a swing of 16.7% to Labor here with the average swing to Labor being 11.5% across the state… with some local booths still not counted.
The election night photos in the attached link say it all..
A gloomy looking LNP ‘party’ has only 3 people in this pic ? some others shown with their back to their candidate, compared to our mob sitting around a communal table, (plus more very vocal out in the ‘storage area’ outside, because our little room was not big enough) we were rowdy and cheering for most of the evening buoyed by the results coming in. When this pic was taken – we had just been told Kate was going to win in Ashgrove!
Still work to do here but this is no longer consider a very safe LNP seat. No more ‘free rides’ for our MIA LNP ‘cruiser, and master of the free morning tea’!
leave you to guess who we are… LOL We did make it safely home by 11.10pm 🙂

TechinBris, Russ, as I said in an earlier comment ” I would like to be a bit conciliatory, …”
    but there comes a point :-{
I think you will find a number of commenters here no longer frequent IA because of the absolute Greens rubbish and the moderators protection of them.
The continued attacks on Annastacia Palaszczuk and Labor that they mounted during that little onslaught of a few weeks was particularly nasty.
I feel that with just over 0.5 % increase in their vote with Newman at his worst and people ready for change , it was a poor result on their part.
    PUP got a 5% swing .
Then around the sites today to read things like Bighead 1883 has commented on , no, sorry I’m not in the forgiving mood.
I just read this on AIMN
“What excites me is the fantastic numbers that the greens got, that’s what has really put the ALP into power!”
    NO,
what did the job was Labor and its hard working supporters and an electorate no longer willing to tolerate Newman and his shockers

I feel the same pain as you YouFO. But then, when everyone agrees with everything I say, I start to worry. Dissension is normal in my book.
I am retreating from IA a bit myself, but I have other reasons to step back and reconsider what is happening there, and actions of some, for very different reasons to others.
I adore diversity, as to me, it is interesting and teaches me things I may not have considered.
I am not telling you to forgive, for I cannot force anyone to do such. Just consider and accept the more diverse we are in our Communities, as long as we care not to harm each other, the better it is for all of us.

heya Youfo, I didnt see the nasty stuff at IA recently as I wasnt around, but I am getting the opinion something dire happened.

I thought IA was supposed to be independant and unaligned , but I guess shit happens in the best regulated families.

The general vibe of IA dived around the time of grumble bums appearance in my opinion and became kind of unwelcoming and unpleasan so I avoided it for a while, but I occasionally visit again when I am home.
      Cheers buddy
