A “Greg” hunt… Release the hounds!

A “Greg” hunt… Release the hounds!Greg Hunt+

What a sad  excuse for a government we have!

And in said sad excuse for a government, full of incompetent ministers, Greg Hunt stands out as one of the most incompetent; and that’s a big call, as there are just so many incompetents to choose from!

In fact in the incompetent stakes, Abbott has an embarrassment of riches to add to our general embarrassment of this mob and their actions and policies!

And in the spirit of credit where credit’s due, The title and consequently the inspiration for this poem came from one of my fine commenters: Diannaart, who posted the title as a slogan for the March in march placards post, so thanks Dianna, and well done   😀

And so without further adjure….

A Greg hunt… Release the hounds!

Greg Hunt is to climate change

What Brandis is to laws

They are both consummate liars

And legal, and climate whores

He’s the anti environment minister

And rabid right wing runt

Who ignores the proven science

Cos he’s the LNP’s Greg Hunt

😉

He’s the one who singlehandedly

Has trashed our climate cred

With his climate sceptics handbook

And ideology in his head

And with Abbott riding shotgun

On their “Direct Action” plan

Which is nothing more than rhetoric

From this Lying Liberal man

😯

Cos it’s not about our climate

Or the future of our nation

It’s all about the LNP

And their policy constipation

And a suppository of wisdom

Just will not do the job

Cos there is no forward thinking

From this rabid right wing mob

👿

So Greg Hunt was the one they chose

To implement their plan

But the experts rightly all agree

They should flush it down the pan

Cos it won’t reduce emissions

And their targets won’t be met

And it will come back to bite us

Like some rabid right wing pet

😛

But the beasts of crippling climate change

Are baying at the gates

While the Liberal knobs are playing games

And servicing their mates

But Greg is just a member

Of a party with no idea

As they run around in circles

Spouting verbal diarrhea

😯

And they don’t believe in climate change

The Abbott said it’s crap

They think that record rainfall is just

Natures leaky tap

And they listen to lord Monkton

And to Andrew Bolt as well

With their well known “non”-credentials

They promote their right wing hell

😈

But this whole thing’s systematic

Of the Abbott and his style

As he spent the last parliamentary term

Spewing lies and right wing bile

Instead of building policy

He turned his hand to slogans

And now instead of government

We’ve a mob of policy bogans

😯

So while the climate’s changing

And our time is running out

And our farmers deal with flooding rains

In the middle of a drought

And the heatwaves get more frequent

And the winters more severe

Greg the climate sceptic just keeps

Talking through his rear

😯

Par for the course, for the LNP

As they totally ignore the facts

And they think they’ll rule forever

Cos old Rupert’s got their backs

And they lied their way to government

And they haven’t got a clue

Of how to run the country

Or what they’re supposed to do

😦

And the climate respects no-one

But it surely needs our help

And we know that we’ll get nowhere

Under Abbotts climate whelp

And for the sceptics claims they make

They really have no grounds

As the science believers make the call

A “Greg” hunt… release the hounds!

😀

poodle+poodleBish

I don’t think these are the “hounds” that either Dianna or I had in mind,  or it might have finished with;  “Release the dog catchers”   😉    but you must admit they’re cuter than the originals   😯   😀

TT, it is a shame, that they cease listening to others. It is a shame, they cannot open their eyes and look around them. Work it out for themselves.

I’m not sure that they ceased listening to others, I don’t think they ever did? 😯

And sadly the problem is; that they dismiss or ignore the experts… and they then work it out for themselves… and invariably get it WRONG. 😦

      Cheers 😀

I wonder where Abbott got the idea, that he was the great liberator. Yes, the great liberator, with only regrets for the worker. Yes, he says he grieves for them.

Yes, it is tough love and father knows best, when it comes to those on the bottom of the pile.

I a sure, mo9st would like to see him and put his grieving and regrets aside, remembered he is not an onlooker but PM.

Time for him to look up the words “good governance”. Yes, and get on with the job.

It seems the cracks in the patrol notes can be laid at the feet of Howard. Yes, Howard did not believe they needed to only to be of civilian standard, not that of defiance.

Truthy your poetry is becoming a work of art
And that`s not putting the horse before the cart
    This turmoil strife and trouble
That`s all caused by the LNP`s arse farts bubble
Is making all of us have a greater think
As to what`s creating all this friggin stink
But the society of rambling poets
Would have us all just know it`s
    Nothing but an elaborate stunt
From that non rabbit catching hound Greg Hunt.

They are having the time of their lives in Parliament now, stupid little snickering, gibs, little giggle fits…………….frigging hell I nearly spewed.
Hunt really does need to be seen by a psychiatrist.
It is like he is spaced out all the time., in a little world of his own.
And don’t get me started on the Speaker.

        Always aiding the ploys

Mate, IMHO none of the LNP are the sharpest tools in the shed, in point of fact, as an ex tradie, I can say with all sincerity, they would have to be the bluntest bunch of TOOLS I’ve ever come across. 😯

Now I do understand that the “Pin” in pinhead represents a tiny little brain which is appropriate for members and supporters, but I do think it’s a tad understated if you get my drift. 😉 Maybe an expletive or two would help? 😀

You did not disappoint, Truthie. A while since I have been considered a muse. 😀

Heard on ABC 774 drive program yesterday. Raf Epstein had a climatologist (from BOM and advisor to IPCC – apologies, cannot recall his name) on air to discuss the latest on how climate change has already impacted on Australia in particular as well as trends around the world, included in discussion was how current PPM of CO2 impacted on atmospheric temperatures..

After the interview, Raf took a call from self-educated layman (he admitted such when Raf asked him for his qualifications) after the man claimed that CO2 levels, although a greenhouse gas (!?) could not possibly affect climate as there wasn’t enough being released into the atmosphere. Raf commented to this ‘knowledgeable’ man that he had completely contradicted the scientist, and sage caller replied, “Well, he would say that, wouldn’t he? He’s a climate scientist”.

    Woof.

    Questions for the Ghunt:

How many trees are you going to plant, GREG?
    A lot.
What kind of trees will they be, GREG?
    Wooden ones.
Where will you get the trees from, GREG?
    The tree shop.
Where are you going to plant them, GREG?
    In the ground
When are you going to plant them, GREG?
    Later.
What size will they be when they are planted, GREG?
    Biggish.
How long will it take them to grow to an effective size, GREG?
    Soon.
Who will look after them to make sure they survive, GREG?
    The rain.
    Are you a liar, GREG?
    Not according to Tony.
    Are you an idiot, GREG?
    Not according to Wiki.

All jokes aside, the Ghunt’s army will be 15,000 strong and they will plant 20,000,000 trees. That’s 1333 trees each if they are all tree planters.
And assuming they travel by truck to the places of planting and there are 15 toa truck they will need 1,000 trucks.
15,000 tree planter beds if they stay out overnight.
15,000 bowls of Crunchy Nut for breakfast daily.
15,000 sausages and 15,000 slices of bread for lunch daily.
    15,000 Maccas for dinner nightly.
    90,000 cans of beer nightly.
    5,000 dunny rolls daily.
The list goes on. It’ll be a fucking nightmare.
